what happened to rapi with that matter about killing a human is a real psycological phenomenon, it basically boils down to "repetition can turn kindness into apathy", this has been observed in the real world with people who work for extended periods of time in humanitarian efforts, reabilitation centers and other similar enviroments, what happens to them is that no matter how kind they were at the beggining, or how good a person they were and still are(this doesn't turn you into a monster or an asshole), the fact that these acts of kindness start to become routine slowly causes their minds to start to considers such acts as mere chores, and so these people suddenly realize, just as rapi did, that they have grown apathetic to the struggles of those that they are helping i remember reading a story about a girl who was volunteering at a place that tried to help homeless people and how she had to quit because one day she has listening to a elderly woman pour her heart out about how she ended up homeless, and all that this girl could think about was "how long is this going to take" and "i need to get to the next one soon"" and other such things, which completely disturbed the poor girl, she couldn't believe how apathetic she had become, so she ended up leaving that place and never coming back
I think the term you're describing at first is burnout. But the subtle differences between your two paragrafs means that the second one is probably closer to compassion fatique. At least I think those are the two you're hinting at.
That could be it, humans are creatures of habit and patterns so something like that could come off as mundane after sometime for some, I hope the best for that girl and that old lady.
Say what you will, but i think Syuuen is a good antagonist to have. No complex motivations, no tragic backstory, just petty, short -sighted selfishness. And with types like the Central Govt being shady af, it's good to know that you don't need to think too hard about what Syuuen's goals are.
As people say This is where the fun begins, we are getting some pieces of the puzzle but also new mysteries surges anew. Taking in consideration what it does Vapahus is a very fitting name for that special bullet. Oh... next charpter is going to be awesome and really... really.. sad...
Super grateful for these well done summaries, I'm just coming back to the game and had forgotten so much. Now I'm caught up to where I left off. Thank you!
This video changed my whole view on exia and I will now build her furniture as she is MLB lol. Awesome video as always and i will continue to watch the series
18:30 IMO As unique as the brain safeguard of Protocol is, this element would unfortunately not become relevant in the future. If a veteran Nikke player forgot about this detail, what hopes do we have that the devs remember?
My very first SSR was Eunhwa when i started Nikke. Her voice actor is perfect. Looks like we're getting an entire new Absolute squad in the near future so here's hoping for forehead girl.
Almost choked when Exia died at first. Was thinking ,"damn! Still warm tho right?" Haha! Dont worry about keepn us waiting. Im pretty sure most of us are busy during the holidays. Grinding Nut
Let's be real: Exia is only alive because plot armor. I love Nikke, but as it is a grimdark world the devs should have the balls to kill off characters (except mass produced Nikkes) but everyone somehow always survive as you will see in later chapters as well.
Triangle squad. Since they are one of the three "dirty work" squads, they can override the safeguards if given direct orders to do so. This goes for Triangle and Extrinsic. As opposed to Perilous siege who don't even have any...
@amw5288 Yes, But Rapi and Enwha both opened fire at Matis (with suppression bullets) because of the corruption. And they openly say "I'll kill you" to each other...
@@phantomjacobWell suppression bullets and threats don't destroy lol so that probably explains it. But I would imagine if a Nikke becomes corrupt and is now a direct threat to everyone else including the commander, then the other Nikke would have to protect the commander at all costs so it makes sense that they would be able to fight a corrupt Nikke. They can fight a heretic. Which were also Nikke at some point.
I’m part of the “I hate Syuen with a Passion” Club
Turn is horrible but crow is worse

Your the best Nikke storysteller in my humble opinion, that i don't mind spoiling myself. More power mate!

Yeah, I hate her but she is a good antagonist for sure.
Yay! A new Summary!
aka A new episode of _Everybody Hates Syuen_
I appreciate these... I skip through the stories because I'm rushing to get as much done as possible in as short a time as I can.
As people say This is where the fun begins, we are getting some pieces of the puzzle but also new mysteries surges anew.

YEAH THIS IS AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Thanks for the summaries as always!

Eunhwa sounds like she's singing
Her flow is immaculate
Great commentary 👏
The goat drops again ughhhggh (thank you❤)
Wooooo!! 30 minutes of pure lore!
that youtube translate as FAP House got me XD
Ngl Neon was so annoying in those chapters
Agreed. Her attitude was one of many reasons as to why so many players don’t really like Neon.
Real shit
I agree with you she's so damn annoying Firepower this, Firepower that she only has one trait like all the other Nikkes.
around Chapters 8 and later did the story-writing quality seem to drop (other than the Marian heretic incident) until we got to Chapter 20
Yea I thought anis was completely valid in her concerns

Nanomachines, son!
As a Finn, taking some of the stuff seriously is hard at times, even though the story is beyond good.

Just curious but does hard mode contain any story?
No, unfortunately hard mode contains no extra story content. Lost relics in hard mode only provide additional OSTs, credits…and 10 core dust…
Exia finds the truth and novel writes/exposes it 😤(maybe in tha FUTURE)
12 minute early, ggs
First, very pog
Imma be the first to say it… Eunhwa is pretty f’en hot and big enough at least compared to Privaty imo
Yeah I think for me Syuen is up there with Micha Bell from RDR2 in terms of characters I hate in gaming
Glad to see someone else hates syuen as much as me >_

If NIKKE can't destroy their own kind...how come Exia got blasted?

@@phantomjacob Yeah. Got me there. I guess there has to be some programming catch or something for it to make sense

shifty is syuen
Syuen hands down the best character.
Shits all over Absolute, esp Vesti, Neon's existence, and even Ingrid
Sunday we waitttttt
