Been at the Phi Phi islands last week and it had very few tourists. We were very surprised because everyone said it was always super crowded. Was much more enjoyable this way though.

It will be more beautiful during dry season from Dec-Apr, better to stay on Phi Phi island for 2 nights and hire long tail boat for snorkeling and visit other small islands.

They overcharged you by more than a double. I did the exact same island tour for 1300 baht after a bit of haggling. Maybe with a different company. But yes Thailand is amazing n your video was lovely. Cheers!!

I spent years learning thai and the phonetic words are a frustration to me. It’s not that thai drop the H in Phuket and phi phi, it’s that the actual thai words don’t contain a H at all. They do it with loads of things though. Like Pai is actually pronounced BUY as in: I want to BUY something. 🤷♂️ Thanks for the video anyway. I’ll be there in December for the first time. I spent a year in Thailand but always in the north.

Yeah to be honest we booked it the night before and online so we didn’t Give ourselves enough time to haggle.
