Roux Hi! I will try and find the recipe we have been using forever, it’s probably covered in flour hiding in one of our cabinets somewhere! But a general tip I have would be to cook at a lower heat for longer. Also if you have a problem with over browning you can cover them with tin foil for the last 10 minutes or so. This will keep cooking them without browning more! I hope this helped a little bit!

@@Ixunoo Hey dear! That is definitely NOT a stupid question at all! I used a totally different recipe and made sugar cookies' dough, then just sprinkled sugar and cinnamon and voila ;) But, what I suggest is removing the almond flour as well since it gives an almondy taste (which is definitely not in cinnamon rolls) and perhaps add a bit more normal flour :) xx
My Christmas gifts are always homemade cookies and sweets. I like to try new recipes every year. This one will be one I will try making, probably today. I will let you know how they come out! (One piece of advice: I've found that if you save the cardboard tube from paper towels or plastic wrap, you can use them to keep these kinds of cookies from flattening out. Roll the dough up in plastic wrap or baking paper, then slide the roll into the tube and pop it in the fridge. The roll will harden nice and round, and your cookies will be perfect circles!)
I hope you don’t mind me replying instead, but the almond flour makes the cookie less hard and more tender!(I’m a homebaking youtuber, so for more detailed info a professional baker would be better😓)
For the cookie, you can replace the almond flour with regular flour. For the filling inside, I think pecans or walnuts would complement the cookie well! Or you could just omit any kind of nuts altogether.
Thank you for the recipe! I made some changes but kept the measurements. Used mashed potatoes instead of flour and cacao powder instead of cinammon. It is sooo good, thank you!
Thanks for this recipe! I wanted to make some kind of biscuits for my family for Christmas, I found some Danish butter cookie and Scottish Shortbread and of course Gingerbread men. This one will be good too! I will make it with vegan butter and gluten free flour.

you can do that for the cookies and filling, add the same amount of sugar in grams, it will not affect the recipe. ^^ but you will need powdered sugar for the glaze, so that it melts easily and doesn't be a "crunchy" glaze :D

Cooking Tree's Cinnamon Roll Cookies Recipe ▶Ingredients 150g vegan butter 50g Powdered sugar 5g Vanilla extract 200g Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten free baking flour 90g Almond flour 40g Almond 80g Sugar 8g Cinnamon powder (condensed (coconut) milk) Glaze (90g Powdered sugar + 20g Lemon juice) ▶ Recipe 1. Beat the butter until lighter in colour, add in vanilla extract. 2. Sieve in flour and almond flour. Mix until dough forms. 3. Halve the dough and roll into a rectangular shape between baking paper sheets and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 4. Finely hand chop the 40g of whole almonds. 5. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then add in finely chopped almonds 6. Take out the dough from the fridge and brush on condensed milk to help the sugar mix to stick, sprinkle on evenly. 7. Roll the dough from the shorter side, pressing firmly to make a cylinder shape. 8. Freeze for 30 minutes 9. Cut the hardened dough in half, then slicing evenly and place cookies onto the lined baking tray. 10. Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes (Preheat at 190°C for 20 minutes) 11. Mix the powdered sugar (Icing sugar) and lemon juice to make the glaze and pour into a piping bag. 12. Once cookies have cooled down, ice the cookies as desired.

오늘 만들어봤는데 생각보다 쉽고 맛있는데 오븐 온도 조절을 잘못해서 밑이 새까맣게 타버렸네요ㅠㅠ 이번에 만든건 제가 탄것만 긁어내서 먹고 다시 만들어봐야겠어요

I'm not sure but, I think that it'd make the cookies too greasy if there was additional butter in it.
