There's a movie called " Sniper " where the lead character plays ...well a sniper so disconnected from normal life from living in country and killing and immersing himself in his work and he tries to console his spotter who had killed a man to save him from captivity. The spotter was really feeling the sick burn from taking a life.
The sniper told him that he would get over it, that he would get by....and that the pain he felt wasn't the worst pain....that the worst thing was not feeling the hurt anymore.
I didn't understand it when I first saw it and you might not either. But things changed, my health has changed and let me tell you man ....you don't want that burn to go away. You don't wanna be numb. Use it to sharpen yourself. God put it there for a reason and it feels like it's supposed to. And you don't EVER want it to go away. TRUST ME ON THIS.

This video popped up in my feed randomly, but it's interesting that you talked about these things because I can actually confirm that what you say is true. I keep telling every Man I meet that the best thing I ever did was to stop sleeping with Women. I became adamant that I would not engage in sexual activity with any Woman unless we were Married, and avoided putting myself into any situation that would temp me greatly. If you struggle with controlling your desires and urges, I suggest that you try fasting with water. Do 1 day, then 3 day, then 7 full days. Once you work your way up to 3 or more days you will be amazed at how much control you have over your flesh, not just with food but also with any desires you have. You master your flesh and you are in control and not the other way around. Once a Woman can see that you have control of your flesh, your emotions, and your finances, she will be more than willing to submit to your authority and position as head of your household and leader of your family. I pray this helps someone. Yah bless.

I've been working at personal understanding and growth for the last 30 years--primarily, working past my adopted fears of life from oikophobia (fear of home and single mothers) to fear and too much deferrence to beautiful females (single/otherwise).
Had to learn to say no to them and some of their crazier schemes.
Also, I had to more clearly define and commit to some of my own goals.
For sure, sex is our downfall as men. After laying with her she starts dictating to you what you should do, or she gets into the mood that pushes you to do everything she wants, sometimes replacing your every life goals with something else. You wonder why she suddenly gets ‘angry’.

One of the biggest mistakes we make is thinking that we are in control when we finally get "the prize" not realising that "the prize" has been reeling us in from the start, before we even knew that she exists.
