I've seen this show like 10 times now. It's AMAZINGGG and so heart warming and funny. There's nothing in this show that I dislike, except that its too short. I wish they come up with a prequel or something. Like Alexis' adventures.

I've seen the show so many times, completing the whole 6 seasons in a week when I was sick. It was a stroke of genius. Funny thing is when I tried to watch it the first time, about 2 years before being ill, I couldn't get past episode 2, I found it so annoying, but the second time I got passed it and now I regularly revisit the show. Its just light-hearted, funny, easy watching and will also warm your heart. Sure, moments of sadness pop up, but overall, it's great watching each person fulfil their potential and the love story between David and Patrick...and the fact the focus is on love and not a big angsty drama...its just awesome. Also, who doesn't love "A Little Bit Alexis"?!
I'd love to see a prequel about Alexis and her crazy stories, but I worry she'd come across vapid without the growth that occurred in Schitt's Creek. I would love a sequel about Patrick and David, their life in their home, the other cast members could guest star...it would be awesome, even if it was just a 1hr special every year or something. I need more of them two, and more Stevie!!!
Right? I tried to watch it, forced myself through the first episode and into the second, and absolutely could not get past it, so I completely gave up on it because it felt more annoying than anything else. I just happened to be flipping through channels a couple of years later and came across some random episode from a later season -- and I thoroughly enjoyed it. After eventually finishing that season, I was able to go back to the first episode and start from the beginning and fell in love with Schitt's Creek even more. I am so glad that I just happened to flip across that channel when I did, because I almost missed out on something incredible. "Stroke of genius" is definitely an accurate description.

Honestly was never a big fan of this show, but i love the cast. This was the first I heard " a little bit Alexis," and my world is forever changed.
