My Dad died with Myeloma age 64. He went to the doctor with back pain in his 50s and was told its just your age. He was treated with kemo and it went away but came back
nice update, however you could have included the pathophysiology of how the osteoclast are hyper stimulated in multiple myeloma leading to high incidence bone turnover
You can consult Dr. S. K. Gupta to learn more about Multiple Myeloma. He is one of the best hematologists in India. If you can't visit his hospital, Dr. S. K. Gupta also has a video consultation facility. Visit their website for consultation or for a second opinion regarding treatment.
Thank you for doing this video. I was dx w/ MM this June and in Sept I had a sudden onset of low back pain and R hip pain. The pain goes all the way up to 10 and the lowest is a 5 on the pain scale. I have 3 specialists, oncology, orthopedic and rheumatology following this. This CA is brutal w/ the bone pain in the lower back and it is affecting bladder control as well. No fun.
I am very sorry you are experiencing such a pain and discomfort. I lost both of my parents because of CA. Understanding the suffering of these patients is too hard for most people.
My friend has a tumor on his spine and oncologist thinks this is what he has. Final test results coming next week. He is in a lot of pain from his spine. Almost unbearable to stand and sit.
my uncle is on diagnosis of mm. his result shows M spike is not seen, good renal function, no anemia , calcium normal but have swollen area around his chest which is very painful and there is pain on his hand and there is back pain which make hard to move and to stand for long period of time. he have no appetite and there is weight loss. without medication it's been more than month
Really CRASH ! Boss we would appreciate if you could make video and MCOs about aphasia types. Nominal , conduction , transcortical motor and sensory aphasia. This headache to us. Regards
You sir are saving both patient's and students lives
