Ida, MI Whelen 2000R Fire Call 3-23-2022

Ida, Michigan: A couple of fools in the rain in Ida. With both Michigan and Ohio canceling their tornado drills this year due to weather, I got the idea to sit at Ida Fire Department as a line of thunderstorms rolled through. Listening to the scanner in the past, I have noticed Ida receiving several calls for wires down every time a storm rolls through. Sure enough, this was no exception but since the county switched to digital I do not know what this call was for specifically.
This is a joint video between Tyler and myself. The first half is from my camera, while the second half is from his. The first half of his video is just him running for a better shot, and my second half was me looking for better cover from the downpour. Two halves, as mentioned at the end, made for quite a decent whole and for once one of my more hair-brained ideas paid off. Enjoy!
