    By far, the best review of this guitar - it’s rare to see a high level player demonstrating a guitar who can play without the aid of effects.

    The demo we all needed for this guitar. Great playing. So hard to find good demos of PRS hollowbodies actually doing jazz

    Man, you are phenomenal. How on earth don't you have more subs? I play rock and blues mainly, but really wanted a hollowbody learn jazz and bossa nova. I was between this one and a Eastman t486, but after seeing your review I just decided. Thanks a lot

    Thanks for making this video! In a world full of blues players, this is what I want to know about this particular model of PRS. I do have small hands though so thats the only thing thats keeping me from purchasing a PRS. As they cater more for people who have large hands or people who are used to those thick vintage guitar necks.

    • @brucegregori
      @brucegregori  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a pretty comfy neck, so you might be ok.

    What a great presentation, Bruce. The guitar is a killer. The sound is fantastic and very versatile. I love the fact that it is not heavy and relatively small in size but huge in sound.

    Dig the PRS Hollowbody II Piezo. A great solution for jazz!

    • @brucegregori
      @brucegregori  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hulk Hogan if you need it for acoustic sounds, it is great. If you don’t need it, the HB II NP is the same guitar.

    • @brucegregori
      @brucegregori  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hulk Hogan I personally don’t like the blend sound in a jazz context. However, it works well for fusion and crossover styles. But that is is just a taste thing. The guitar is really a well made instrument and the piezo system is the same in the US model so cost wise it makes sense.

    • @brucegregori
      @brucegregori  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hulk Hogan well they are different. PRS has modernized Gibson and are well made. Plus they are much easier to deal with vs Type G.

    • @brucegregori
      @brucegregori  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hulk Hogan sounds like a good purchase@ The acoustic sounds are really good inthe right context of any plug in style acoustic I found.

    Seems like a good option for a small guy like me. I'm worried the traditional jazz guitars would be too much to handle. I have no problems with an ES-335 though.

    • @brucegregori
      @brucegregori  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is not too much of a stretch from a 335 to anything that is 16in. A 175 or a sadowsky have the same feel. The PRS feels more like a strat-meets-LP. They are very comfortable, but to be honest not much different than a 335 as far sound.

      @@brucegregori Great review! I'm definitely looking forward to this guitar. This fits on a regular guitar case that can fit a PRS right? That's another reason to like this guitar.

    I tried the rest but this PRS SE guitar is the best. It can do everything especially for recording.

    Thank you so much for this amazing demo video! You just sold this guitar to me, it should be shipped today! What strings are you using? It seems that you have a wound third and quite fat gauge. Thanks again!

    Fabulous! Just the review I wanted to see. Does this guitar do jazz with an authentic traditional sound as well as everything else it does?…..sounds like it definitely can!

    Oh my gosh, great playing! Very musical and technical, both of which I need improvement! I have been on the fence about this for about year now. How do I justify to my wife the need for this instrument with all my others?!?!

    You answered my curiosity about playing jazz. Still, McLaughlin is playing a solid body PRS with Shakti.

    Hi. Can you please share what was the string gauge used while recording this clip? I own this guitar since…yesterday and I am really surprised how thin original strings are. Any recommendation? Thank you in advance.
