Hi, that's a very nice video. Just wondering, when I looked into google map, I didn't find anything named Beville Heights Creek. Would you mind being a little more specific, so that I can find the place? Thanks for the good videos.
Sometimes the city or county tests the creeks around town and find high levels of fecal contamination in the water, and there may be street runoff, so I’m not sure…
I think Santa Fe College has some good safe fishing. Newnans Lake has a fishing dock/pier, and the Payne’s Prairie park on the south side of Lake Wauberg has a dock. Otherwise, UF just had their last family fishing day for the year. They usually do it once a month. Keep an eye on their website for when the announce next years dates ffgs.ifas.ufl.edu/tag/family-fishing-days/
@@GNVfishing I have been to Newnans Lake before that was good. I will try Wauberg next. I want to try pond fishing in town but I’m nervous of getting the cops called on me. Lot of the ponds are private or in “private” neighborhoods.
Pretty much all the places I have (except the UF creek) are places that do not have “no fishing” signs. The UF spot didn’t have a sign, but someone pointed out it isn’t allowed on campus. So if you go to any of these spots, you should be good!
Looks like a cool spot, thanks for posting.
I want to join ya! I was the person on the reddit forums with the maps link.
I gotta go back and find that map. I haven’t looked at it in awhile.

Hey, sorry about that… here are the coordinates for this fishing spot: 29.652173, -82.395289
@@GNVfishing Great!!! Now I found it. Are those fish edible? I mean is there any chemical issue that you know?

Looks like clear lake park
@@dogmandavid1650 yep, it’s just before Clear Lake Nature Park.
I live in Gainesville also. What would be a good place to take my young son fishing safely?
