Someone purchased a BADASS Camaro!! Don't let the duffaces get to you. I for one am glad you put out this video. It's a beauty!
I had one that looked very similar when I was 18 and 19 years old back in '78 in Tuscaloosa. Same color and trim on my RS. The grille had been changed to the standard grille with the black polished off. 4' and 8.5" Cragar SS with blackwalls. Same interior. 12:1 396, L88 solid cam, Tarantula intake with 780 Holley. 40lb flywheel, M20 Muncie, Hurst super shifter, 12 bolt with Summers Brothers spool and axles and 5.13 Eaton pro gears. Low 7s 1/8th mile. Never got beat on the street. Pretty quick for an everyday work car back in 78. Daddy didn't buy it, I was working 55 hrs a week at an auto parts store.
A '70-'74 Challenger is my favorite car of all time, but a black '67-'68 Rally Sport is my favorite Camaro of all time---this one is built pretty much how I would've done it. Love the amazing-sounding 350, and it must move pretty well; when you were running through the gears hard, it looked like it was pushing you back in the seat pretty good. Love the console with the factory gauges, and of course the 4 speed. What an amazing ride. On another note, I can't believe that purple '69 Satellite hasn't sold yet; thought it would be gone in a flash

You should get the Lincoln. She will need it soon. Unless you find a neat 60s station wagon. 65 Ford country sedan, pick your drivetrain, new or old school. Or a 65-66 Impala wagon. My mom raised 3 boys and didn't drive dads Chrysler wagon, she drove a 64 Barracuda, bought it new in April 64 and drove it till she died in Dec 89. My brother still has it.

I watched your lot walk on Monday & this ride was there, I immediately went to look for the test drive which wasn't available yet & when you finally post the test drive its already sold. How do we get the insider heads up on these cars? All the cars that I'm potentially interested in on your Monday lot walks are sold before you can even post more information & the test ride. It's kind of aggravating. They are gone before most of us even have a chance to buy them. So what gives? How do we get the inside scoop ?
Sounds great seems to drive good but you can't hide anything with black needa alot of little tweaks hope the new owner appreciates it

Very nice.! If it is a True RS /SS, that is what makes the price. It doesn't matter about engine or anything else. Original parts can still be found to make it more valuable.

Nice Camaro. Not too nice that you'd be afraid to drive it or park it somewhere but not a beater either. I would not change the rear end gear because that's what makes the car so much fun to drive. I'd dump another $4 to $5K in it for a TKX 5 speed swap then you can have the best of both worlds. It would be a blast around town and still be able to cruise the highway.

I don't really like em either but it was their hotrod, built to please their taste. That's what hotrodding is, the builder is the artist . I would have put 4" and 8"x15 Cragar SS and Blackwell tires on it.
