On Sap2000 v21, Haven applied Moving loads (path and vehicle) on my bridge crane constituted by many spans separated by nodes, unfortunately when i create a multi step animation video i found my vehicle does not go all along the bridge crane but stops on the first span although I defined the path for the whole beam. Please can i know what is the problem and how can it be remedied ? Is there a particular type of joints am i to define on the bridge crane and a joint linking the bridge crane with the steel structure ?
Thank you so much for sharing the video. In a next video could you explain how an overhead crane is modeled on two beams? Thank you very much in advance!!
Great Video. What if we have multiple design truck loads as specified in AASHTO, does it need separate vehicle classes to be defined or can be categorized all in one?
Thank you for your support!
