- Hey everyone, if this video hits 1 million views, I will reupload it and add voice commentary over it to explain the entire process of the hunt (which will also include tips and tricks I've learned and utilized). Thank you so much for all the views, comments and support thus far!
Soloing Deviljho with heroics and attack buffs using Great Inceadeus.
A lot of people have been asking why I don't use full Vangis. First off, it's absolutely hideous on both male and females; seriously, I cannot stand it. Secondly, I'm a mixed armor guy, so I like utilizing mixed sets. Thirdly, this run wasn't an attempt at the absolute best time possible; it was more of an attempt to see if it can actually be done in a worthy time length with the SA and also as a guide to help players know how to fight Deviljho. Finally, if time prevails, I may attempt another run preferably with maximized setups and efficiency, as there's still a lot that can be improved in this clip.
Also, people have been asking why I don't use Black Harvest. The answer is simply because Great Inceadeus has a power phial, which will out damage Black Harvest if all you are using is Sword Mode (the more powerful, effective mode of the SA). There are some damage calculators you can use to see what I'm talking about. - เกม

Its easy cause the hitboxes on you should be a bit hard. The little clip when joes dragon breath happened, and the player rolled under joes chin, wouldve been a hit. Compared in mhw

I loved this game so much. It was the first and last monster hunter I,ve ever played and watching this gives me the feels. More than 7 years after this video was uploaded the game stills looks good.
As far as I know after this game they only made games for Wii U and Nintendo DS. I didn´t have them or want them. I waited for a PS3 release but it never came.
I know but I´ll wait for the PC version. I´m planning on getting a new one this summer so good hunt! :D

This game looked so real when it came out and now seems so old lol. Still, my first mh and my favorite for many reasons. I miss it, loc lac, the story, the first time hunting, the hard as hell alatreon, the bugs in volcano and the island, running out of time in jhen hunt, the first time I hunted barroth, the bowgun system...
Man this game brings back so much memories. It was so fun back then when I had a Wii.

is it just me or this game is just pure awesomeness... beautiful graphics, nice gameplay and controls, catchy story. This is one of the few games that makes the Wii worth buying and playing. This is one of the best games I've ever played and I'm saying this after playing Skyrim.
Watching these vids i understand why they say mhw is the easiest, cause it became a lot more hack and slashy with less strategy and stuff like using these blue steaks.

I used to be as great a deviljho switch-axe hunter like you... but then I switched to MH3U because of the servers crashing for tri. You are the greatest ghost of Tri I've ever seen dude! =D

Im glad to see there are still games out there that are difficult enough to warrant guides on the internet. So many games these days are just too easy. Sometimes I hate how difficult G-rank quests can be solo but at least its a challenge that's worth the time.
This video and many MMOJacks MHO Videos were the first Monster Hunter Videos remember watching, and I am pretty sure they got me into the MH Generations DEMO, the first MH I ever played, everything else is history there.

The description explains why he used a water weapon(it does more raw damage). As for this video I'll give you a quick rundown: he bombs himself to less than 10% HP which activates a skill(Felyne heroics) which gives him 50% more damage. When Deviljho sleeps he takes triple damage from the first attack that hits, so the barrel bombs do significant damage since it bypasses defense. This video is impressive because this fight usually takes a team of four, yet he's soloed it in a (very) decent time.

I hunt fairly often with a guy that had said "after a while you focus on trying to maximize damage and tend to care a lot less about defense..." I think this is an awesome example of that idea.
I cower when I fight him in MHP3rd, even if I manage to kill/capture him with seconds to spare. You make it look so easy. I salute thee!

You sir have skill. I managed to solo and kill a Jho back in the good ol' days in about 12-13 mins using Barrel Bombs (L), traps. Adrenaline+2, Evasion+2, Speed Sharpening, and Negate Stun.

There's a petition on change.org to bring back the online servers for this game. I think we all want it back lol can people spread the word? Pretty please?
I really doubt that would happen considering not only does it cost money to keep up those servers, but the MH3U version of this game is on Wii U which is an enhanced version of this game that is really supporting the new system. They'd be dumb to give people any reason to ignore the new game if they want Wii U to succeed.

I can't blame Capcom for shutting MH3 servers to fund the free servers for MH3U instead. Remember that in Japan, players are actually paying fees for the servers. We should be thankful Capcom has provided us them for free here. I don't think they can be financially stable attempting to run two separate servers for free that encompasses thousands of players each.
Nevertheless, I'm happy to say I had thorough enjoyment out of MH3 way before the servers were shut down. Running with three characters with one HR 999. The game is now 3 years old; if you bought it within the past year, you should have enough time to pretty much accomplish everything you want. It's not like an MMO where it can go forever. There comes a point where you've done everything possible in the game (not including raising HR beyond 51), and all that's left is to just have fun with friends.
Oh and it's quite sad; I want to play MH3U but have absolutely no interests in the Wii U nor its current line up of games. Hence, I'm not going to shell out $400 just to play one game.

You should get a 3DS, then. Sure, MH3U can burn through the battery (unless you turn wireless off), but you can get 60 fps and (improved) content from Portable 3rd. Also, MH4U is coming out early next year.

The little health bar is part of the strategy, there is a skill in that set that gives you more damage if your health is below 25%

From what I know there are no invincibility frames in Monster Hunter. I think there is a skill that makes your hitbox smaller, so you can roll through their legs or under their tail when they swing it.
The general Monster Hunter playstyle is to run circles around it until it does something, then stab it a couple times, roll away, repeat. But you can go a level above and do what this guy is doing to maximize damage output.

How do you get the jhos quest
Okay So, the earliest switch axe you can get that has green sharpness is the "Assault axe" which you get from upgrading "bone axe+". But you need Barroth parts for it so it won't do you much good since that is what you are fighting. You can, however get the knight lance from your point in the game. First get iron Lance, upgrade it to iron lance+, then upgrade to Thane lance, then upgrade to knight lance, which has green sharpness. You will need a lot of metals including pelagicite ore which is..

@quietLP 1 she has evasion+1 which increases the likly hood of rolling through attack so the dragon breath.2 heroics is a food skill she used which increases your attack by alot when your weak (like she was) (heroic is a food skill;)
