Life goes by so fast. Seeing you guys just talking about the good times together is sad in a way. The amount of laughs and memories you share together with friends is priceless, not only that but u shared it with the world. A lot of us feel like we grew up with u guys simply because we grew up watching. Now that we're older all we can do is reminisce. I can listen to these stories all day.
Nostalgia can be haunting, Raab at one point was really trying to across how grateful and thankful he was for the early experiences they shared when talking about skateboarding. It was really nice I thought.
As great as this is to see these two talking together again, a full blown reunion with Raab, Bam, Dico and Rake all sitting down and talking about old times would be amazing.

I'm speaking of the actual "feeling" that is associated with the topic of Viva La Bam. Meaning, the nostalgia associated with that period of my life when watching that show was a part of it. They lived it, therefore, those two men must have strong neurolical conjurings associated with, say, Dunn going over the waterfall. The skate community in the 90's was awesome. I remember going up to love park and the sub zero guys that we idolized would clap when you landed a simple trick they could do with their eyes closed. Truly sentimental watching this, it's a beautiful thing to listen to rab and bam converse. The podcast is a tremendous idea. These dudes have heart maaaan. How many of us grew up seeing bam here and there in magazines or videos and felt like he was another one of us skaters that just lived in different neighborhood. Almost felt like wed run into him at a spot. Before the dark times, when skateboarding got cool and shops were filled with 12 year olds getting completes from their moms and dressing like if kanye was into skateboarding, while we worked the register in exchange for new griptape. such good times.
That was such an awesome conversation. The stories truly hit home for all the teenagers watching CKY when they were coming out. You guys made a great episode of an era that was one of the best.
This podcast is so so special to so many people. It completely brings so many people back to their childhood. Raab, I don't know if you guys realize how big of an impact that you had on people. Personally, watching you guys as a kid in an incredibly abusive home, I was able to pretend like real life didn't exist and I could just watch you guys and laugh for a half hour on MTV. For the 18 hour days he put into making and editing it, it's sadly pretty terrible. I remember listening to his Sirius show while he made it and was so impressed by his work ethic, but the end product was pretty terrible.

I could literally watch/listen to them talk all day. I grew up with my friends watching the CKY and Jackass crew and I always remember how pumped we would get when our local skate shops would get the newest CKY video (Usually on VHS!)

*** Some how Bam got the sweetest and most kind parents I have ever seen. Truly amazingly sweet parents and they seem awesome as a couple. I have been watching these guys since literally the very 1st CKY video and I don't even remember how I found it lol. But no-one knew what CKY was when I was showing friends at school the bootlegged copy I got off Napster or Kazzaa, or whatever I used at that time, in THAT age of barely starting to be able to download torrents and music, etc. Lol. Y'all kids now ARE SO SPOILED AND YOU HAVE NO CLUE HOW EASY IT IS FOR YALL NOW!! It would take us 30 minutes to download 1 song that wasn't even in HD because HD ANYTHING wasn't even a thought yet. Lol. We had shitty dial up AOL internet lol. Appreciate this shit and what technology does for us now days, haha! In like 7th and 8th grade, (I'm older then a lot of you dudes 😂), but then when they popped up on "Jackass" I was like, "Holy shit! These dudes got on actual TV doing this same goofy shit they did on their videos which was exactly what my friends and I were doing! Haha. Crazy as hell. Glad to see Nova sober finally, after watching him for 20+ years on H, and now living his best life. Truly amazing and I hope Bam can do the same with his demons. But I bet it's so hard with all the temptations around 24/7 nonstop. But I sure hope he gets better and can be an example to everyone of us that loves him and these guys. Man, what a joy. I'm 42 now, my pal had cky on vhs and we would smoke hash and watch it when we were like 25. Truly sentimental watching this, it's a beautiful thing to listen to rab and bam converse. The podcast is a tremendous idea. These dudes have heart maaaan. Hearing bams honesty about his dealings, fuck yeah, it's inspired especially raab doing the podcast, a new era of a mad synergy that inspired many and it's still there, it's in a new form and it's conversations.

How many of us grew up seeing bam here and there in magazines or videos and felt like he was another one of us skaters that just lived in different neighborhood. Almost felt like wed run into him at a spot. Before the dark times, when skateboarding got cool and shops were filled with 12 year olds getting completes from their moms and dressing like if kanye was into skateboarding, while we worked the register in exchange for new griptape. such good times.

That was such an awesome conversation. The stories truly hit home for all the teenagers watching CKY when they were coming out. You guys made a great episode of an era that was one of the best.
You know, for a moment there you see the old bam coming back. I think him hanging out with rabb was cathartic.
This podcast is so so special to so many people. It completely brings so many people back to their childhood. Raab, I don't know if you guys realize how big of an impact that you had on people. Personally, watching you guys as a kid in an incredibly abusive home, I was able to pretend like real life didn't exist and I could just watch you guys and laugh for a half hour on MTV. You guys got me through the hardest times of my life. I'm sure yall have heard it all before, but thanks for putting yourself out there. So many people appreciate it more than you may ever know.

I've wanted to skate with bam since I was 10. I've looked up to him most my life. It's nice to see him doing better for himself. Made me sad watching him drink himself to oblivion.
