Recuerda que la edad no importa cuando se hace musica de esta claidad y con estas canciones tan buenas :) Harem Scarem son una delicia para los oidos :) Un saludo
Because musicians get better thats true and the really good singers that take care of there voice can still kill it . harry hess...cj snare..michael sweet..ted poley..eric martin Just to name a few
Always thought the start of Stranger Than Love sounded like a wonky record player but a GREAT ballad, especially the solo. Still can't believe I only got into this great band a few years and,I'm 48 years old, through buying the re-released anniversary album Mood Swings. I've been to the Firefest Festival in Nottingham twice but not to Rockingham due to work holidays and the fact that I live in Northern Ireland I've had to either go to see my beloved San Francisco 49ers play in the NFL at Wembley or go to a rock festival/concert in England. Ps I'd love to have been in the crowd to watch Harem Scarem at Rockingham.Maybe someday. It will be another of my life's ambitions once we get through the Covid-19 crisis.
Pretty sure most of their live stuff (this included) from the past 10 years is downtuned at least half a step, at least compared to the original records. "Death of Me" from their new album is in D standard tuning (whole step down), like Motley Crue.
@@dirtylivin07 I've just listened back to back to the original and I can't really tell the the half a step tuned down, maybe you're right. But even so Harry is singing solid still after all these years.
@Crimson Idol I just picked up my guitar and tried playing a few songs from their first album. Slowly Slipping Away, Hard to Love, and With A Little Love are without a doubt standard tuning. They do not play these songs in their original key live.
@Crimson Idol on the contrary, Mood Swings seems to be played half a step down. I still think Harry is taking a backseat approach to vocals live and letting Darren handle the higher harmonies.
one of my favorite band for guitar work, i wish they had a bigger catalog. ..and of course the harmonies. They have some of the thickest harmonies in music. I can't think of any other band that pulls it off the way they do, not without a full row of singers in the background
Yup too bad they came out in the early 90's just a year or 2 short when hair metal ended. They kinda sound like Def Leppard but with Nuno Bettencourt on guitars.
Two first albums were one of the best relases in AOR/Hard Rock catalogue ever. Don't know what happened next, but Voice of Reason and next albums were not as good.
Good Amazing Guitarist but this time he got a very bad tone guitar because of WRONG CHOICE of guitar GIBSON SG Not good for HAREMSCAREM MELODIC ROCK STYLE👎👎👎SORRY PETE
Amazing HAREMSCAREM but Very bad guitar sound GIBSON SG this not the HAREMSCAREM SOUND that we use to know i prefer PETE should use again his IBAÑEZ GUITAR GIBSON SG IS NOT HAREMSCAREM SOUND
Giving me back the best time of my young adult, emotional and nostalgic at the same time.
Every time I hear Hard To Love; I can't help but think of Joey, and Caitlyn.....and Tessa Campinelli. School's Out!
considering their age... they're INCREDIBLE !!!

Can't believe I missed this show, Not only they sound tight, but the key is spot on NO TUNING DOWN CRAP! Love Scarem since 1991.

@@dirtylivin07 Yep Darren sings his butt off in Red Dragon Cartel, which I think more challenging to sing than Harem's stuff.
Amazing!!!!
Great video. Theyre local to me, but huge elsewhere. Best band ever they rule!
