Aemon is punishing everyone for the bullying they did to him when he was a child. That whole family is broken.
Dragons do build bonds with other dragons, but it's rare or unique for it to be stronger than the bond it has to it's rider.
I saw a shot of Aegon's final look and he still look very much normal. He's still good looking.
Summoning the Targaryen bastards looks to me like one of Rhaenyra's major mistakes. A man without family or name will get his hands on power, a dragon and the most powerful family name in Westeros. One can guess the consequences... A struggle for the throne arose even between the children of the same king.

My thing with the show is the framing of these actions; if the Greens had done it, they would have painted it as the most idiotic decision, but when the Blacks do it, it's genious strategy.
Wanna see bonds between dragons.. vermithor and silverwing will display this hopefully in the show.

36:44 quick correction, the one who almost married Viserys in s1 was Baela’s mother, Laena. (She also asked about Vhagar during her meeting with Vizzy T and went to claim her about 3 years later so we can see where the daring spirit Baela has comes from lol)
But Baela is giving Rhaenys (level headed, a bit daring, supportive of her loved ones, will speak straight forward) while Jace is giving a little Corlys and young Rhaenyra (hates being brushed aside, a little impulsive and impatient, quick to pivot with his plans and whinging at his betrothed like “baaaaabe they won’t let me do stuff ☹️”)

As people know or should know daemon might say he wants to be king but he doesn't, he takes kings landing with rhaenyra....his dragon alone struck fear into everyone there so rearing to the scene of him telling alys he wants to be king is just bravado
Team Green but my god Team Black keeps taking L.....they not won a single battle won, lost two dragons, vale doesn’t want to send their armies because rhaenyra gave them two baby dragons as a defense lol, daemon the great war general cannot muster an army and the river lands don’t want him because he did the same thing as he did with blood and cheese……..without corlys fleet blocking trade to king landing team black has absolutely nothing going for them.
