    Hey buddy just looking over some of your older videos, and want to tell you a little trick I've picked up along the way, I now use the clear plastic dome that the hair system come mounted on as my template, its stronger than the tape template and holds the shape much better, you just have to keep it pressed down on your head while you cut around the perimeter, and it works well.

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, ive looked into that. The only issue ive found with that is that the dome does not lay flat on the head. So it can skew the results by .5 inch or so.

      @@HairExperience yeah I know, you just have to push it slightly into the head.

    Great video Curtis,
    I just made myself a new template, and had a brainwave and used the plastic dome that a new system is placed on, I did small dots around the perimeter where my bio hair is really thin, I then joined up the dots and cut out my new super strong plastic template. Honesty its good and works great.

    The hardest part of this overall is something you didn’t touch on and that is knowing exactly where to place the template. If you do not place it so that the very front is in the same spot each time then you won’t get it right every time. Some people can eyeball it, some measure from the nose or measure in another form but either way that part is the most important. The rest is easy as you showed and described.

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great point, and yes seems I did miss that. But with that said there is no perfect way to do that. No exact measurement etc. I can do it because I have a few remaining hairs up front, that my guide. But for anyone else that is a good point. You really have to get where it looks best, no measurement other that the 4 finger method will work

    Thx!

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, you dont cut the hairline. Just cut the extra away from the edges, thats it. Leave the factory hairline the way it is !!

    Hi Curtis, when are you coming out with the Latest hair system with thin in the front, back, and sides, with French in the middle? It's the best combo for breathability and hairline. Thank you, Sir Curtis

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Id say no. The best for breathing and hairline is a swiss lace unit, ours is called invisilace

    • @joshgates2671
      @joshgates2671 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HairExperience I meant to say thin skin in front, back and sides. With French or swiss in the middle. Perfect for attachment in the front by putting adhesive on the thin skin and nice breathability from the middle. It works really well

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey that is doable. The only thing is that the hairline will not be as good as a normal .03 mm poly InvisiSkin. They are thicker and could show

    Hey Curtis, I’m in the UK and after watching 60 or 70 of your videos I have booked into a local salon to have my first ever system fitted on December 28th, I’m having a custom system and I’m really looking forward to it. The only worry I have is that I’m going skiing on January 17th and I will have a helmet on all day and be sweaty etc, I will also be inexperienced in dealing with this and I’m with a group of 12 guys so I’m worried it lifts or something, do you have any advice for skiing?
    Keep upthe great work you are an inspiration
    Cheers Ian

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, get a cloth Do Rag to go over your head. That way the helmet is not rubbing against the unit. That will help
