this oil screen was sooooo much bigger than I thought it would be but that's a good thing and really cool. I always change the oil and filter/screen whenever I get a "new" vehicle even if they say it's new. it also lets you get into your car/truck/bike and see how it's doing, making sure the heart is pumping well and the blood/oil looks the way it should and gives you an idea of how well your engine is running. it's like the first step of getting into being intimate with your vehicle and making sure she's healthy.

Many thanks.Torque specs would be really helpful.
Also, the manual states to use a flange sealer on that outer sensor nut.

Here after almost 10 years and was like this guy sounds almost exactly like Jerry. Lo and behold, it's actually Jerry helping me out yet again on a obscure issue lmfao

Outer oil temp. nut requires locktight 510 on the 750M. safety issue, if that nut / oil exit the system, down the bike goes. ty for the vid.

Was wondering if you had any tricks on trying to fix the temperature sensor. It just displays "low" all the time. Thanks. Great video btw.

Hi. The first thing, sorry about my english!
My Ducati S2R1000 is losing oil in this sensor. You think its broken? Or maybe i can clean it and reinstall? Thanks!

Hey JerryRigEverything , do you have the torque settings for both of those plugs?

Do you know if it’s the same for the s2r1000? My oil pressure sensor is tucked back a bit more but a socket can get on it if I remove the wire

It is a video about changing the oil (and oil screen) in a motorcycle. The oil screen keeps out any flakes of metal that may accumulate in the engine from normal wear and tear.

Call me anal but I clean my screen after Each oil change. Good way to monitor the condition of my engine.
