Fabulous video! I look forward to your videos and you never disappoint me! Thank you for sharing all your projects and beautiful finished projects. You are such a quick stitch.
I absolutely love your videos! You are a natural at doing them! Love your content…I, too, didn’t realize that linen even existed until I found Flosstube 3 years ago! Not sure if that was a blessing or a curse 😂! My fabric box is overflowing!! Again, love watching you as I stitch!
Thank you so much for your kind comments! Yes, since starting on linen last year I have discovered so many new, wonderful things! It's fun but hard to narrow down the possibilities! I'll have more to show next time so I hope you stop by! Thanks for watching and happy stitching! 😊
You've done quite a number of HATS designs! I still have to stitch one sometime in the future. Love your Halloween collection; you obviously like the occasion. I love hearing stories about Maurice; the craft will not die with us thank God. Looking forward to your next video. Stay safe Audrey 💕
I do love Halloween! I think as far as seasonal stitching I have more Halloween than anything else. Maurice has even picked out a Halloween pattern for himself but he may not get that done until next year 😅 and yes, I'm very glad at least one of my kids has picked it up! Thank goodness! Thank you for watching and happy stitching!
Viv, I am pleased to let you know that your comment was randomly selected in the draw! Please send your shipping address to me by Monday. My email address is in the info box above. Thanks for watching and congrats!
I have watch every video you have made. Looking forward to see your new craft room. Keep up the good work. Your stitching is very good and I stitch only on Adia fabric 14, 16 and 18.
Thank you so much for watching! ☺Yes, I am working on the new room and hope to show it to you guys soon. I appreciate your kind words and hope you find time to stitch today I've been so busy this weekend I haven't put any stitches in since last Friday! 😅
I love your channel! Seeing your mill hills inspired me to stitch my first one and then go on 123 stitch and create a wishlist that was well over a thousand dollars just in mill hill smalls lol…. Love all the samplers as well they are beautiful and when pumpkins glow oh my gosh! I might need to start that one. Another October birthday girl here… it was so much fun as a kid and I still love my birthday month now as a grown up kid. 😆
Yay for Club October! Hope you do something fun to celebrate! (Like buy some of those many Mill Hill kits on your wishlist 😉) "When Pumpkins Glow" is super cute so I would definitely recommend it! But there are so many wonderful Halloween projects to choose from so it can be hard to narrow it down. Have fun and thank you for watching! Happy stitching!
@@StitchStitchBead So many fun Halloween stitches! But, I already ordered “When Pumpkins Glow” as well as the panorama display! Thanks for the inspiration/enabling!
The big ones are definitely an investment of time but can be so worth it! Stitching smalls along the way helps to keep me motivated though. Thanks for watching! Happy stitching!
Well, I did enjoy this FT even if you gave me an earworm, "kids who climb on rocks, even kids with chicken pox" which I hadn't thought about in forever 🤣 Love seeing all the HATS patterns, they are so beautiful plus the history. Not my sort of stitching, give me a marking sampler. I am stitching on a handful of Halloween and fall pieces, still not finishing much. Happy day with your family, Maurice and Rupert sound like great kids.
Ha! Sorry about the ear worm! 😂 But I hope you enjoyed the video. 😊 Stitching for the joy of stitching is good even if finishes don't come quickly, just enjoy what you're working on and have fun! Thanks for watching and happy stitching!
@@StitchStitchBead I forgot to say this, but tell Morris that my husband Cross Stitches and he loves it. He saw how much I enjoyed it so about three or four years ago he asked me to show him how and he’s made some beautiful projects. He is working on a Sampler right now. We do woodworking projects together, so he didn’t see any difference in us doing stitching together. Isn’t that sweet?
@@sheilalovesgreg3489 I love that! My husband goes cross eyed just looking at a chart so there's no hope he'll join me in stitching but we do other things together. But I love your story! Thank you for sharing!
Congrats on getting a red box! I've already started on something from that collection but I think I will have to wait to share as a handful of people are somehow waiting until Christmas to open theirs! Enjoy!
I too am a reproduction sampler stitcher, and I can't believe I just found your videos today. You showed some wonderful projects. I sign my samplers in the bottom linen margin where it won't show when the sampler is framed. I backstitch my name, where I live, and the year over 4 linen threads. I don't bother to chart or center the info since it won't show when the sampler is framed. Did you know that Nicola will be having a workshop the first weekend of May 2024 for the Queen City Sampler Guild in Cincinnati? Message me if you would like some information.
Thank you for sharing, Ellen! Backstitching sounds like a quick and easy way to get a lot of information in so I'll have to experiment with that. I did hear about the workshop in Cincinnati but May is always a busy time for us so I wasn't sure I could commit to going. It is tempting, though, since it's only a couple of hours away! I will reach out if I find that I am available. Thank you and happy stitching!
I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for speaking so clearly and having a wonderful sense of humour that is family friendly. Question…does the wool pressing mat make it easier to get hard creases from folding or hoops out of the final stitch?
My apologies for the terribly late response to this but thank you! The wool pressing mat works very well and I find that with a spray bottle of water and a hot iron I have been able to get out even the hardest of folds. But the real perk is that I don't have to pull out the big ironing board just to iron a small!
Have you watched Kennedie Creates? She started her own flosstube as an 8th grade student. I also watch Stitching with my Littlie, which is a mother and young daughter. Several flosstubes bring on their kids every once in a while for just a few minutes.
@@StitchStitchBead please do not include me in the lovelies from Always in Stitches. By the way, I am between 2 LNS shops. Both are a minimum of 90 minutes away, depending on traffic.
Allow Maurice to watch the Globetrotting stitcher her husband Gary is a super guy and so creative and he has started stitching too! They would be fantastic models for him as well as Bren!❤ I love your Quaker, my only thing about it … not a fan of that much brown when I’m stitching, love the result but not the process. I had thought maybe grays instead of browns but ya know what that would lead to😮😂 nice to see you today and blessings to you❤
Thank you for the recommendation, Robin! We will check out the Globetrotting Stitcher soon! I know what you mean about all the brown and that's exactly why I stitched other things along the way. Love the finished product though. Thank you for watching and happy stitching! 😊
Hi this is so fun catching up. Ruth Gibb is so sweet. In the 103 threads what do you like about them or is it more a higher count fabric that it's good on. Take care
A lot of people use 100.3s on 40, 46, and 56 ct. It's a thinner thread that sits better on higher thread count but I like them because they're so easy to work and come in a wide range of colors. Very easy to just pull what you need off the spool!
Hi Audrey. Love your channel. My question is on Spring Quaker by Lila’s Studio that you stitched is there any 1 over 1 stitching? I love this pattern, but I’m really not a fan of 1 over 1 on 40 count. Thanks for sharing your stitching.
Hi! There is no over one stitching on Spring Quaker. The white rectangular border around the basket in the middle can be stitched either in cross stitches or satin stitches. I chose cross stitches. All other stitches are full crosses. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching! 😊

Yes! There are many charts that are stitched exclusively over two and would work on Aida. If you head to the HATS website, information about compatibility with Aida can be found under a pattern's "Linen Sizes" tab. Two of the newest charts I showed, Ann Rathmell and Carmelle Azzopardi, are both compatible with Aida and I know there are many more. Hope this helps! 😊
If it seems intimidating but you'd still like to try it, I would recommend a light colored fabric and to stitch in bright, natural light. You never know; you might love it! I started with Aida, then moved to 32 ct linen, and now stitch on counts as high as 56! It helps if you find a project you're really excited about. Happy stitching! 😊
