UV(Ultraviolet) LIGHT CAUSE BY
DAMAGE .
NORMAL REPLACE THE BOTTOM POLARITY FILM
AND THE SILVER LABEL.
but the TOP polarity film
also may have problem.
and we try to repair,but REPLACE it is hard,it must
clean the display very well
and no dust and air inside
the label.and HARD to found
out the Right angle degree

it because it have 0,90,45,and 135 angle of the polarity film ,but i cannot
know my film is which angle

It can trap moisture though.
Where the display panel is clipped in, pry those 4 retainers back and remove the display, now pit your electrical tape in between the edges of the display and where it beds into the bottom of the display holder.
Or, if your time is worth money to you, just go buy a new elastomer connector.
Be like $3...
Just take the unit in with you to an electronics shop and ask for a new zebra connector for it...
Alternatively, you could shave down the posts that the top two screws secure the pcb board to the zebra strip. (That pink/black/pink strip of runner along one side of the lcd display and which is the conductive joint between the board and display. )

Thank you sir, what is the brand of your silver label paper? Also, i have bleeding in my vintage lcd game screen. I looked at the lcd glass and saw that there is a cloudy patch in between the glass which caused the bleeding. Do you know of any fix to that, such as massaging the lcd liquid around?
if lcd liquid around on it,normally in black color it mean that damage screen,i don't know how to repair this,and the silver paper and the polarity film is normal damage parts,and polarity film you can buy a ipad type polarity film to do it,silver paper use any bands can do it,but also try to turn the angle to clearn look before fixing it.
if use white paper also rotation to a clear look in your eyes,and white paper at the bottom size,normal for have backlight multimeter,you can watch my video of tear down meter ,company also use white paper on the backlight screen ,it can make the backlight good reflection.
I have a tester with an LCD screen with similar round pattern. What causes this? I thought the problem was a circular polarizer, yet your screen seemed to have a problem with the reflector behind.
Why did you replace the front polarizer? Does the angle depend on the polarization angle of the reflective panel?
for my case is the back side polarity film have problem,first take off the reflection SILVER paper,second peeling off the polarity film,then clean UP the screen.
then buy A polarity film,
then place the film to TEST it angle ,make the film easy to see like transparent than fix at the screen,last make A SILVER label(or white paper)to fixing to the back for finish.
and my meter front polarity is no problem,because it HARD to know the spot is front or back side.but normal is backside damage first.sir
two of the polarity film is fix in 90 degree for A clean look .some Time is front is 0 and back is 90 degree.polarity film normal have 0,45,135,90 degree.sir,and we also is learning in other youtuber video for repair.

Hi. I have fluke 289 having the same screen problem. Do you think i can just replace the polarizer film for the repair?
sometimes can only change the film ok,you must be buy a silver base polarity film to 289,because if you use normal silver base label,it may be no backlight come out sir.thx for watching.

4:13 by clean color you mean the color of the base paper yes? Which is silver. So if using a white base,you rotate it until the color white yes?

if you rotation to a clear looking clear ,it be the right angle for a good look of the digital come out.

in normal that have 4 type of polarity film 0,45,90,135 degree and some of this can use any degree angle film to do by using one film to（ revised the angle to be done, normal（ top is 0,and the bottom is 90） when you see a clear looking that maybe done.but that have another angle film that may not fit it will be changed a deep ,dark display ,it because the film not fully correspond
the right angle.And i also learn how to get right angle now.😅

the buttom of silver base paper use any of silver paper can do it but it have an angle of reflection you must place down and rotation the paple to a clear look.
（some time must use a matte one is best than a plain one）,if you screen no backlight .and if you have backlight try to buy a（ apple i pad type reflection type film）may be easy to buy in web,but it only have 2 of angle will fit it,and normal you can rotation the reflect the film to the angle it may spend many time for test,hope this can help you,remark buy a big card like 9 ,12 inch type.

if your meter not have backlight it can use any silver base card or label put on the back to test,or use a white paper to test before.（white paper may reflect less light it will dark）
normal call matt silver may be good reflect effect come out
You should not pull top front polarizer back polarizer was damaged you should replace only black polariser

@@shindvs and if your meter is placing in asia it may be damaged .it about 5 years or under may get black hole,i also change the full set lcd module at least three time,and now i only change the silver base paper only,but fulke meter case become damage ,and hard to repair for no parts to exchange it,and now day fluke new product not very well becareful sir,i have 5 fluke meter is damage ,and don't sent back to fluke repair,because it cost expensive and only checking the meter money maybe up to$120 USD.notice only checking not repair charge fare.
@shindvs You are right. Only rear polarizer film should be replaced. In fact if someone can manage to pull out silver reflector without damaging the polarizer than just reflector is needed to be replaced.
yes,if you can pull out the background silver base label,it can try to fix.if not it must be replace the polarity film sir,it is no way say what is your meter screen is damage to how worst,and some time can't repair by the mfd use a special adhesives materials.and don't complain me again we also learn from web and other youtuber.

sorry your car have this ,i don't know how to do,it need the name band and the model and found on TH-cam as repair the car panel screen sir.
the good way is changing a polarity film and the basr use a white card try to do it first,the polarity film try to buy a ipad 7 or 10 inch for easy to buy it,hope you can succeed,and pls see another video for repair car screen first.

yes,this meter is only change the silver paper,and some time the polarity film may damaged if hard to pull out it must be all change the polarity filmm and silver paper,but it need to fix the angle to the clear look first for any combin the machine.

@@wilsonluilui to be honest. I changed few lcd's polarized filters with new filter that i bought from chinese seller. They all look darker than the original filter. And yours also looks darker after filter repair. I think the original polarizer film sheets were good quality with more transparency. These nee replacement sheets are more dark.
@@AsBi1 it is because all seller is for ipad or mobile phone ,it is not super fix like the original,and you changed a few ,and must be know that mothold,and don't make any complain to me,it not my fault,it only a way to easy to fix it to use ,a little dark that ok,it can use sir.
@@AsBi1 and it may be more testing and try a new type of film ,it can repair the lcd well ,now day it hard to found out the original silver base label,only use a matt silver base card for repair it ,high temp in this country now 4 of multimeter change to dark screen,when you not found the original label it can try to add a white paper or matt silver card at the bottom,it can finish.
@@wilsonluilui i just ordered the aluminium tape. It looks exactly same.as the shiny silver reflector as original. Also it is adhesive. So it will be easy. I am still waiting for that to arrive.
