I have the TDI turbo version of this car. 2014. Red with a tan top. I wish I would have gone with the R-Line non diesel but couldn't find anyone with the color package I wanted in stock. The diesel version doesn't drive as smooth, it has a jerkiness to the gas, especially when taking turns. As soon as you let off the gas the car basically comes to a complete halt, the brakes are also too touchy, you barely touch them and they brake very hard. They are also prone to dust and squeaking when they get wet. I only have 1,000 miles and the brakes already squeak, the windows also fog up really really bad if you have the heater on, even if you have it on heat and turn on defrost they will fog up, you have to turn the temp down and the a/c on which sucks when it's cold outside. Renders the heater useless. The exhaust of the diesel is strong and comes into the car, less so if you have the recirculated cabin air on. Also when you use the windshield wiper fluid the chemical smell comes straight through the a/c vents, so bad that it made my son and I start coughing and our eyes water. This is all with the top up.

Spoiler's do not keep you stable at high speeds, they provide down force. No spoiler is best at high speeds (think 180+ mph)

I honestly don't mind Beetles at all. I actually really like em even though people are saying there chick cars. In my opinion I was never a fan of convertibles and not just this one in particular and its just always been that look of a top being black while the other half is a different color that I don't find appealing personally. I do like the hard tops with sun roofs more in my opinion.
