@@RajdeepBorgohainRajdeep Brother, NTorq also has a mono-shock that too very lean or thin. Check yourself; it will be on your Ntorq's left-hand side, under the ladies' footrest. Yes, it is pathetic, to say the least.
There is no one size fits all. You would need to load the bike, all depends on weight, check the sag and move the notch up or down by 2 try it out and go with the setting what works best for you.
Why dont you have your front suspension raised by 2 onches? They put a small spacer in your suspension and change your spring thats it. And the front will feel lovely.
Zedling is the best for the job. I have an impulse that I'm running zedling front suspension inners. They are good. And just to add I thrash my bike crazy, front suspension is great. Just get it fast. Zedling has some inner front fork kit for ktm adventure.

@@motovin77 That depends on person to person, for heavy people the suspension dampening is more with per-load… similar to as that 4 people loaded in a Scorpio SUV makes the ride smoother. The XPulse 200 4V is the right choice 👍

Did you take the Weight and dynamics into consideration before upgrading the Shock absorber with a lighter motorcycle to a heavier motorcyle? You do understand that the load capacity is important here, right? Let alone the rising conditions and the thrashing it is suppose to take being a tourer. And how about the suspension bottoming out just in case of a surprise posthole, hardbraking, unmarked speed brakers? Doesn this all works? I am just trying to understand something here so please bear with me.
@@motovin77 maybe a little stiffer might help with the swaying? However, a higher compression means chances of it leaking out. New shock absorbers means new seals, it just needs to endure the wear and tear over time, if it works, you would have solved a lot people's problem honestly.
How did you check the specification of the ktm and hero? I have a modified FZ25 and wish to install a new rear shock but idk how to check which one fits. Any tips?

@@motovin77 doesnt mapping the ecu takes into consideration the kind of suspension the bike has been given. I mean 390 adv does come with different settings which were mapped into the ecu considering the stock suspension in the picture. Just curious.
@@samjangam2078 Suspension is an independent component on any vehicle and does not have any connection with the ECU. ECU mainly controls only the running of the engine.
@@motovin77 But this suspension is softer so the static sag is more when sitting on the bike? SO may be when you seated on the bike the height remains the same as stock one doesn't have much sag. BTW. Zedling rebuilt your stock suspension(as it it's serviceable) too for 8.5K with softer springs. The newer KTM's are coming with non serviceable rear shock so for that case they have designed a complete new one which sells for 19K.
Hi, no it will increase the suspension height further by an inch, I recommend you to get low suspension from KTM which is provided in 390 Adv V Version.
Please do a follow up after 3 months to 6 months or so. This a problematic part, but a critical one as well. Hence, a follow-up account of your experience would be a good idea.
Exactly, adjustable suspension wasn't available last year and half ago. So i had got xpulse suspension, it did a wonderful job... Last week I got the adjustable one from ktm.

Bro I use Ntorq for daily commute but the rear suspension is pathetic! I can't compare it with a monoshock 🤣

I think you install the suspension in opposite direction. The endurance logo should go to the swing arm.

Best to stick with stock. Xpulse one is longer and will have adverse effects while cornering

Not really mandatory to upgrade front suspension unless you plan to do real hardcore offloading...

You need to measure the length and also ensure the mounting points are identical...

Why would I want to make it even taller? As it is seat height got increased by 10 mm after stock XPulse suspension.

Just a couple for the 100 km it takes to bed in... Seat height there is an increase of 10 mm but not a huge issue if you are at least 5.8.
