Duke’s philosophy about humanity is pretty much clear. Humans are capable of terrible and destructive actions which is true, however, humans are the only ones who are capable of creating awesome and beautiful things. Which means that humanity accepts change , for better or worse and people aren’t stupid, they just forget over time. That’s what gives me faith and hope for humanity because I’ve learned to accept humanity, both the good and bad!

I love how you included everyone's dialogue if they lead the fight against him. To this day such a memorable and epic final boss!
And the way that the dialogues managed to seem like it was all part of one full scene instead of multiple scenes!

I was hoping you'd edit in all the solo conversations, and you definitely didn't disappoint! There's an irony to Duke saying that their fight was inevitable though, considering how easily Yuri et al got distracted by sidequests along the way. Yuri gave Duke a taste of what the Adephagos got a bit early too ;D
Repede's dialogue is the coolest...

Namco Bandai really needs to make a Tales of Vesperia 2. I always had this thought of seeing how the new world works without blastia, new spirits like Volt, Celsius, Rem and Shadow and most importantly, Duke as a playable character.

No, this game is great as it is, it doesn't need a sequel, remember what happened with Symphonia? We certainly don't want that to happen again.

In all seriousness, after playing this years later, I still love this game. The characters and the gameplay is still a lot of fun. I know this game isn't perfect, but this is still my favorite tales game.
It nearly is perfect tho. I would say the only flaw of this game are the weak villains.

man oh man, i'm so glad i got this game (even if i don't have much time to play it). Yo you smoke the hell out of phase 1 in that duke fight, i blinked and it was over. and that was my first time also see Brave Vesperia, yeah that MA looks like fun. Also i was wondering if you were trying to go for the Twin Wave on him but ran out OVL meter and couldn't pull it off. Other that i enjoyed each and every vid, i know it must've taken a lot outta of ya to edit most of this and i thank you doing what you do best, keep up the good work Omega and I'm looking forward to the post game.

I like how everyone shit talks the dude yet if it was a 1v1, almost everyone with maybe Yuri and Estelle would DIE
U went up and beyond with the dialog in the beginning
This is one of the most memorable boss battles to me. Yes it is for the fate of the world, but it is so much deeper than that. It is a battle of ideals and done so beautifully here.

I would have never known there were alternate scenes if I didn't watch this, since there's no way I'm not going into this fight with Yuri as the lead. I would have just assumed he got more dialogue because protagonist

When I was young and bad at games I couldn't beat dukes 2nd form good thing I never saw the 3rd but now I'm older and still bad at games but I at least beat duke in all forms

I found it funny how you actually had the strongest sword apparently in the game but it was weak and then AND THEN MY BLOODEDGE ABBYSION CAME TO ME
I remember getting all of the Fell Arms BEFORE battling Duke, so I had the difficulty of having to do the entire final battle, and the 3rd battle was extremely difficult due to being underleveled

Also I guess you don't need Flynn and Patty's Fell Arms for the third form. If I'd known that I wouldn't have bothered with the Necropolis until post game.
So there is more it after you get to the final floor of the second area and fight the boss right? I can't go any further.
Edit: Nvm, I probably just missed the part where you went to get Flynn and Party's Fell Arms. Meh

WEIRD... I just beat the game last night and most of the conversations shown here (before the battle) didn't happen for me.
Jason Platt you need to do a lot of sidequests to get him to have a 3rd fase. If you do those you’ll have those conversations
@@temmink2012 It has nothing to do with that. You get a different conversation depending on who is placed in the first slot in your party. Nothing more and nothing less.
Wait he has a 3rd form when I did it it was just the 2 is it locked behind harder difficulties?
No, to access the 3rd form, you need to get all the Fell Arms, and maybe do one other thing, but there's nothing about difficulty, fortunately
