  • AMAZON RIVER JOURNEY ( from IQUITOS, PERU to MANAUS, BRAZIL )
    This video will take you trough first part of my trip from Iquitos, Peru to Manus, Brazil. Make sure you subscribe so you don't miss part 2 of this crazy adventure
    I done this trip again in my style, with cheapest option possible and that was slow boat. First part will take you from Iquitos, Peru to Tres Fronteras or Three Frontiers. Three Fronteirs is region of Amazon rainforest where 3 countries are meeting. Those 2 countries are Peru (Santa Rosa), Colombia (Leticia) and Brazil (Tabatinga).

    hi, if you saw that garbage just ignore them and dont post to youtube about them if they found out they declare you persona ingrata you are not not allowed to enter that counrtry again.. even in asia, we had also the same problem. if you dont like the view just find another good view..remember you just a tourist or guest on that country..

    Good one but dont blame the people for rubbish; its the local municipality and at a federal level where services are lacking especially for the people of the Amazon. Good job though very insightful. How long did it take in the end

    That looks great! I was looking for a cruise from iquitos to manaus online and only found those super expensive fancy tourist traps. But this look exactly what I'm looking for! I know you said you cant really get any infos before getting there but could you tell me how much did you pay? And if it was possible to go hike in the rain forest where you stopped with the boat? Thanks for the video!

    • @DanielLoncarTV
      @DanielLoncarTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I m glad you like it. I really can't remember the price, but it was much cheaper then those fast boats. This is great experience. You also have meals on the boat. You can not take a hike where you stop, because you don't stop for very long. If you want a nice hike in the jungle when you are in Iquitos or Manaus take a tour that will take you deeper to jungle. More days tour lasts more experience you will have. On this jungle tours you get to go kayaking on the river, fishing piranhas, day hikes, night hikes, visit to shaman and much more. The best is to ask locals when you are there.

    Açaí can be eaten in many ways. It is common eating as frozen, kind of Ice crean mixed with condensed milk, cereals, chestnut and tapioca flour. To come to Manaus from Tabatinga, you also can take a flight by Azul airlines, two-hour, if you prefer.

    • @DanielLoncarTV
      @DanielLoncarTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know there is a flight, but I wanted to experience Amazon river like this. That frozen Acai is best :)

    What can you buy on the boat-food? Oh,there are showers to wash?

    • @DanielLoncarTV
      @DanielLoncarTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This boat I been from Iquitos to the boarder with Colombia and Brazil had toilets and some "showers"...water was coming from the river directly so make sure it doesn't go into your mouth.
      FOOD... They provided some minimum meals as a part of ticket, but very minimum. However..often the boat stops in some villages by the river and people that live there will come and sell some fruits, sandwiches etc.
      If you are going the same way I reccomend you to bring some snacks and lot of water.

    • @DanielLoncarTV
      @DanielLoncarTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      And important...you need to bring your own hammock and ropes to hang it on the boat.

    Hey man how much did it cost you to get on the boat and how did you arrange it?

    • @DanielLoncarTV
      @DanielLoncarTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't arrange anything in advance. I was in Iquitos and just ask locals. Went to the port where was that boat I took. Tourist offices sell some faster and more expensive boats only. Can't remember the exact price now, but it was not something expensive.
