i go to a private arts uni and funnily enough, it's more like highschool in this video. my lecturers always let us know when assignments are gonna be due, helps us in class, etc. although the fees are insane and the age variety in my class is pretty crazy so you got that spot on 💀
Private uni's tend to be a different breed, you just pay a truly stupidly high amount to go. The vid is pretty accurate to most major Public uni's, usually the more historically prestigious it is the more shit your experience will be.

So Melbourne, RMIT, Monash, Latrobe, Deakin, Swinburne are all public universities. Even the smaller ones like Southern Cross University are public

Because I went to a public high school, and from what I've heard (in Australia at least), teachers in public schools don't really help out the students much so they become more self reliant and find the transition to uni relatively easy. But on the other hand, students who went to private schools get keeps of help from teachers, but then once they get to uni feel they've been left behind as most university tutors don't have the same time/resources to help students as private school teachers do.
