Thanks for showing this. JMRI is an incredible program capable of so much from what I can see but it and the website is so user unfriendly. Only by following folks like you who have managed to get a handle on it and listening to explainations have I managed to learn a little.

Yeah the JMRI documentation thing is difficult I think. Sometimes I think, oh well I'll have a go at doing it, but then realise that there are so many different approaches to using it that it's a very difficult thing to document in a process driven, 'how to' kind of a way. Keep going with it, it is a very powerful piece of software! Regards, Chris

Excellent video! Your interests and goals seem very aligned with mine. I also want to have automated trains running -- perhaps through freight trains, Amtrak trains, and commuter local trains -- while I run local freight jobs that do switching along the way. Seems like this would be entertaining both when running by myself and also in a more formal operating session with a few friends. I appreciate you taking the time to demonstrate your activities and solutions. I'm relatively new to JMRI, just a month or two, but learning fast thanks to the great work of people like you. Thank you.

Thank you - yeah I really like the idea of a bunch of people working together on something like this. Now all I need is a bunch of people! Thanks, Chris
