Dragons are sometimes large, winged reptiles with sharp claws, scales, and a long tail. Dragons can also be small friendly and loyal. Dragons are known to breathe fire, ice, or other elements, and they have power, wisdom, and strength. They are also known for their intelligence, power, wisdom, strength and fierceness. Some dragons are evil, while others are friendly and helpful.
Feeling valued is a basic human need
The story helps parents and caregivers open up a conversation about uniqueness and personal value.
It is important for every child to feel valued, especially young children who have not yet developed the self-esteem and judgement required to understand how and why to value themselves.
Feeling valued is linked to a person’s emotional well-being which in turn encourages our uniqueness. As a child learns to value themselves, they discover their inner strength - a tool they will grow up to understand they have choices, which is very self empowering. Discovering their value makes it easier to make and keep friends, be happy, be successful.
This story encourages dialogue to help a child accept themselves for who they are and recognize their self-worth.
