I have this wallet for over a year and still smells nice.Thank you for giving me the idea of using the protective sleeves , it actually works.Also thanks to you i use the sleeves in other slg too like my round coin purse and my key pouch. Such a fantastic idea.

Hi I'm glad you did this review, last month I was thinking of purchasing it to match with my twice cross body in noir but I was having a second thought now finally this help me to decide.

I like it i just brought the same but in dark blue and red its so light weight.
Great review! Thank you! I'm glad you mentioned the zippy because that's what I've been considering but was concerned that the zipping would be somewhat annoying. I'm going to check out your DIY protecting your wallet video, too.
I have the zippy and it's in the DA. I get so freaked out about getting it dirty (idk why i even chose DA to begin with), so I keep it in a thin plastic makeup pouch lined with a Coach dustbag). Anyway, yeah, I never zip that thing up. I drop the wallet back into the pouch and just go on with my day.

Okay so I watched your video about making sleeves for your wallet. I kind of thought that was a bit silly, but I will say I'm kind of thinking about it now. Like if I was going to buy a preloved item I would want to buy it from you! Ha! 😅I might actually be converted lol your wallet looks immaculate!
+JoJo D haha. Thank you so much. I did actually sell my Adele and I think that was the main selling point. It is a bit ridiculous and so many times I say "buy it, enjoy it, love it ect." But I do like to keep my things as protected as I can. I am definitely not one who totally babies their things but I have found my items to stay in good condition. sjabean hahaha I actually might i just ordered the twist wallet in rose ballerine so I think that will be nifty to keep the inside from getting gross! My only issue will be finding the slips because I'm in Australia 😅 x

Awesome video !! I've been so torn between the Zippy and the Sarah wallets that you totally convinced me on the Sarah Wallet . :) Why did you pick the Empreinte Leather instead of Canvas ?
Choosing the Empreinte over the canvas was such a hard decision for me. Once I knew I wanted the Sarah I went back and forth but ultimately I liked the feel and structure of the Empreinte. I also asked 4 different SAs at different locations their opinion as to wear and tear of the two materials on wallets and was told out of all of them only 1 SA has ever seen an Empreinte wallet come in for repair and she said it was due to over stuffing the zippy wallet and the zipper broke. To me I wanted a wallet that would last me years so I chose the leather. Please I had recently purchased an Empreinte Speedy and loved the way it smelled and felt. Hope that answers your question. Good luck! You won't be disappointed. I have been shocked how much I love it. I even choose my last purchase (Alma PM over BB) because I missed caring my full size wallet so much.

+drama_kween I have only 1 hot stamped item. Not because I don't like it, I just haven't done any. I love my emprient Sarah and before purchasing it I very much considered the canvas but after talking to a few different SAs I decided the Empreinte would probably last longer.
Where did you buy the clear sleeves
Hello -- is the wallet heavy compared to the same one in canvas monogram or damier ebene?
+Kahla Cernosek I don't find it heavy. It is heavier than canvas but in my opinion not noticeably like the bags are. I feel it is so much more durable and luxurious than canvas. And to me the SAs I spoke to all said the Leather would outlive the canvas. (Hope that helps a bit.)
Hello ! I just bought my self the monogram Sarah wallet. How is the your holding up ? I’m thinking maybe I need the leather one just like yours just so it can last longer.
I love mine. I have noticed wear on the corners and the snap but other than that It looks pretty good.

Also maybe include if you would buy it again esp considering smaller bags and wallets are kind of "in" right now. I have the Zippy, Zippy compact (old model), and the Zippy Coin purse, and don't know if I want another full size wallet. Even if I do get a full size, I'm not sure if I want the Sarah or the Emilie. I don't carry more than 4 cards usually, but do carry a small card case for gift cards (esp with Kroger and their 2x fuel points hah). Any thoughts? Thanks!
+log Ikz for me the best part is that I can carry my receipts and all my cards, check book if I wanted to and even my iPhone 6S. It's the perfect size for me but I think for you the need for all the slots isn't as important. It would be nice to have all your cards together but if your small card case works for you maybe the Emilie would be a better option? I love my Sarah but I do usually keep my insurance cards and such with me. I hate changing out my wallet but only have 2 company bags so for me I don't have to do it too often. I will have to do a review for you too. It's holding up so good but I also think that's partly because it's in emprient
I thought about getting the emilie, but honestly I kind of hate that it's curved and not an envelope shape. Such a little thing, I know. Also, I wish it was just one shade and not different on the inside. Your review definitely has me drooling over the Sarah.
In your review, could you do a close up of the glazing-- esp where it gets stressed the most from opening/closing and the back panel (lol i'm not good at explaining).

I want to buy this Sarah but only thing is made in Spain . Not form France .

+karen L no difference. LV, and other Lux houses can't make all their products in the same places due to space. Plus with demand so high they have placed factories all over the world to make shipping easier. Some items are primarily made in certain places. I think the first run of things tend to be made in France along with more exclusive items. But items that are in higher demand tend to be made at different places. The craftsmanship and materials are the exact same. It's just a personal preference. I have no problem with things made in other countries but some people feel the Made In France is the best b/c that is the original factory.

I do still have the Sarah Wallet and love it! It is my favorite LV wallet!
I wish the whole wallet was in the impreinte.
+maryb1206 that would be pretty. Not too much of it isn't though. I look at the new emprient Speedys and don't love that. But I've been told that the other leather is a little bit lighter.
personally I love the smoothness of the top part:)
