Hey everyone welcome to a special edition of Matts RV Reviews!
Today we have a special episode me Wil and Jen travel to Corpus Christi Texas to find our friend JD from big truck big RV… This particular RV is his father‘s class B motorhome… And what makes it super rare is that it is a true class B motorhome that has a slide out… I hope you guys enjoy the video that JD and I did for you!
I never thought I would see a class B with a slide out! Incredible idea. I guess it would really add to an already high price but damn what a game changer for class B's.
I would definitely buy this class B. It finally has everything you want in a small unit for one person.
This is a great collaboration. JD and Matt together is the perfect combination to review RV's. You two really entertain and inform. I totally enjoyed all three reviews.
For the life of me, I do not understand why manufacturers have not made more of these. This is just incredible! I own an class B now, but this would be a game changer! It solves the bathroom problem, it solves the storage problem, it stores the ability to freely move around the coach problem! Great review as always Matt!

Loved the collaboration. But that RV has me scratching my head. I’m not surprised that Winnebago moved away from that floor plan. In my opinion, it doesn’t make sense in a Class B to have so much storage and huge bathroom and then that sad little cumbersome bed.
If they reduced the storage wall by 18” they could have a queen size bed. And, it would still have a lot of storag! Win-win.
Bed is a deal-breaker, made for small, skinny couples only.

As Bs go, this one is pretty nice! An actual dry bath in a B!? And it's cute how gentle Matt is being with everything! Lol

Perfect motor home - except I would reduce the storage space and have the pull out couch 8 inches wider.

Matt, interesting fact about Mercedes semis (at least the ones sold in Europe): the HUGE Mercedes logo on the grille can fold out so you can use it as a stool to clean the windshield! I was told most truckers keep a small folding stool. They use the logo as a dining table.
I love the jump at the beginning of all the videos. It makes me laugh every time.

this is the best kitchen countertop i have seen in a smaller RV with that longer rectangle shape stove top set back along the kitchen window so you have room to prep food and place dishes in front of it.

I can name one other Class B with a slide. The Leisure Travel Vans Free Spirit SS. Which was produced from 2013-2015. And has the exact same layout as the Era 70C. Which Winnebago started making in 2015. *cough*

I’m pretty sure unity made one in the 2016 range also… Which you would call a class B plus and it had a slide. It had a rear bathroom and a Murphy bed. Quite a nice unit

True class b's with slideouts that are functional with slides in is definitely a market that isn't being done enough.
This is the weirdest layout I’ve seen, but as someone said Winnie no longer makes this layout , all I can say is that PLEASUREWAY ACCENT , LEAVES THIS IN THE DUST .🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

A class B with a dry bath and slide-out (though you didn't show the slide-out) from 2016. This to me solves a lot of the issues of a class B, wonder why it's not used by all manufacturers? I have seen a current European manufacturer with a rear slide out.

I actually think that bed would fold out even with the slide in. It would be tight to the sliding door but I think it would work!
It is fantastic! Everything you need in a small and SUPER convenient unit. Can the bed be opened when it is slided-in?

At 10:15, that 'high gloss, brown wood' looks like mahogany. Befits a Class B of this stature. They should make a few more of these vehicles.

@matt you did a great video on my Fleetwood that I got last year. Problem is the service center has had it for 5+ months for basic warranty work and won’t return it and isn’t responsive. Videos are great, the problem is we own it and then eat on the service side. I’m not sure viewers and buyers are aware of the service and maintenance challenge.
I guess the bed can be fully deployed with the slide out not extended? Nice design. It reminds me of the layout of the Leisure Travel Vans murphy bed.

Easily the best class b I've seen - I wish Winnebago would bring it back
Nice RV! That's the older chassis with the five speed transmission getting 14 mpg tops.
I've own a sprinter c by Fleetwood and if your not Mario andretti you easily get 14 + mpg, and bypass traffic never maxing out @ 85mph.
But gotta show the sink and cook top... we need Andrea!
