It's great to see their excitement! We have a 3 year-old and are considering starting the Abeka preschool curriculum this Fall with her. I've heard many great things about Abeka, but I also had some hesitations. I had read (online) many comments about how intense and workbook-heavy the coursework is. Also, I couldn't get a good feel of what the workbooks and readers were like just by browsing Abeka's site. I found your channel recently and videos like this one and your "typical homeschool day" video have been very helpful in making me feel more confident about moving forward with Abeka. Thanks!
Lindsey Estep awe, thanks! I am so glad my videos were helpful to you. I have a video about how to make Abeka work for you, check it out if you haven’t seen it yet. With a 3 year old I would personally just teach through play very simple things at home yourself...and start with K-5 when she is 5. Their program is very well thought out, you will be amazed at the progress your child makes!

We are finishing up 3rd grade curriculum. Lesson 169. Loved reading swiss family robinson and pilgrims progress! So much better than books they promote at public school.

What exactly did you purchase? I’m trying to get clarity on whether or not the grade level bundles include the instructor books. This will be out 1st year doing homeschool.

Hi, what is it that you bought exactly? It is the tuition and books enrollment package? Which is roughly $950 dollars? Was there any other extras?
Hello, I wanted to ask if you think material for grade three changes alot every year, I have 2 sons and the age difference is 3 years. Do you recommend purchasing the whole package over again or it just depends? We will be first time homeschool family next year and am pleased with abeka from what iv seen and research.
I know this is late but you will have to purchase the work books all over again because the lessons pages are torn out each day so at the end of the school year, the book is empty. The readers remain the same. That you can pass on reordering.
I live in the Caribbean and my daughter attends a private school that uses this curriculum.
Were those bought all in one kit or did you have to buy them separately and do the dvds come with them?
