Actually all the young girls literally look the same, they always wear the same type of makeup in korea, always the most trendy one. Although their facial shapes are diff, the girls makeup style is totally the same, plus most girls diet even though they are not celebs or even need to. I only dieted once in my life, I was 13 at 150cm and 60kg, and lost to 45 kg, then I became average, but lots of other girls do what I said before
@Joanna Ng celebrity are also ordinary people tho, they just have fame, and a reason they are famous. So if celebs can live up to it so can ordinary ppl. The only thing ordinary ppl lack is the money, fame, and motivation (celebs have ppl to push them forward in the industry while “ordinary ppl” just have themselves) I think Im fine, no one straight up mentioned my weight except for my family and other close adults around me with actual concern, but because of my insecurity about myself I ended up losing it, not towards the celeb standard. I sadly cannot answer ur question about the other girls who diet when it isn’t needed etc because I personally have very few friends, and the ones I do are not that type. I don’t know why but I used to avoid girls like that, afraid they would internally shame my body etc.(although Ik they wouldn’t, but I read too many books and watched too many movies)
@Joanna Ng I never went to school in America except for college, so that’s cool. It’s not like having a celeb face and body is a thing that people think you should have, it’s more like the people want to be that. People seem to want to have a good body over an average/ bad one and people want to look “pretty” with makeup. It’s not like people expect each other to be a celeb, but they all want to, especially the teens you know??
Same, I felt so sad watching this :'( And that other idols go through this too. They really shouldn't be encouraged or heck, celebrated for yo-yo dieting
I rarely leave comments under videos on TH-cam but this one just hit me on another level. This video reeks of double standards and it promotes unhealthy habits. Applauding Moonbyul for ending up underweight (15kg lose) was really painful to watch. I wish I hadn't watched this video. To whoever reading this comment, please eat well and stay healthy. Diets like that leads to a lot of side effects that goes unnoticed when you're young but as you grow older it'll start effecting your metabolism and therefore will lead to a plethora of issues. You're beautiful when you're healthy. Stay safe and take care ❤
even though i really hate that they pulled up those "comparison" photos (solar is literally one of the fittest female idols i've seen), i'm kinda glad that it's solar who's dealing with it on this show. she's shown time and time again that she's a strong and confident person, which allowed her to laugh everything off even though it was disrespectful to her and her members. we never know what's going on behind the scenes, but solar seems to be genuinely comfortable with how she looks and just focuses on maintaining her body/looks/health.
I really hate how they talk about Hwasa « As excepted » (she goes straight into Solar food) While Wheein exactly does the same. « What does she always lie down » Hey ! You didn’t made 3 comebacks and several collaborations this year.
Yes I hate this show. And nowadays they are putting Solar on an extremely unhealthy diet, can we all give dislike to this video to express our discontent? I don't want the girls bad treatment to be so normalized!
the way this show triggered every bad memory i have, the level of disrespect, i weight more than solar so i probably could be obese for them even though i'm healthy, someone tell them to shut up
its ok to loose weight for your health if you are overweight, or if you are unsatisfied with your body. thats totally alright. but its unreasonable to drop down your bodyweight to almost a 9 year olds weight just for some stupid beauty standards...
imagine collapsing several times due to severe diet, that's really cruel :< your body shape does not affect your talent, why should it be a big factor, right?
WE STAN THEM FOR THEIR TALENT AND CHARISMA NOT THEIR WEIGHTS! WE'LL STILL BE SHOWERING THEM WITH CRAZY LOVE EVEN IF THEY CHOOSE TO MUKBANG ALL THE TIME AND GAIN WEIGHT ❤ They are GEM🔥
lmfao they trynna level with mn** with their editing, bruh, the belly wasnt even her real belly, it was part of the dress. Solar is seriously one of many idols who really takes good care of her body, she exercises regularly, and as you can see shes not thin but lean. the disrespect is really out of this world.
Even though they say this light heartedly it's honestly so sad that the industry requires them to look a certain way. And doing it in a way that's so harmful to their bodies.
This is really eye opening! Kpop idols need not to starve themselves! Find alternatives and still be able to enjoy what you eat while in a caloric deficit! Love this!
I never understood why idols go on crazy diets or starve to lose weight. With their hectic schedule and constant practicing/training that I'm sure is already limiting their meal times itself, shouldn't they naturally be losing weight?
"she went from 60kg to 45kg" "good for her" no,WHERE is it good? i mean if she's happy okay but its sad how idols are so pressured they say things like " i was almost 60kg i had to diet"
That's a very healthy weight. Depending on the height and age of the idols this 45 kg ideal puts most idols either close to being underweight (barely normal healthy weight) or means they are seriously underweight. Considering the amount of fainting bc of diets and this unhealthy fixation on weight, I would not want anyone to compare themselves to sth. like this.
This is the Power of mamamoo in this show. Only mamamoo clips has more views than other bosses in this show. It shows how influential and powerful they are. KBS should treat them better.
Not to be that person but i don't think they should have shown this on tv especially them talking about how they ate nothing for 3 days and even collapsed this is not normal and it might look like they are glorifying it when in reality this should be condemned i understand some people might think this is their job and they just spoke about how or what they eat and things but this isn't healthy at all not for any idol and certainly not for others, women especially since we are told how to look and what to eat i feel like this just encourages that anyways i Love mmo tho they are really strong girls and stream aya
One of the reasons i like this group is that whenever i see them theyre looking healthy and fresh.... and i hope they wont be scared for a few calorie... cutting calorie too much is not also good... just eat whatever u want and stay active for fast metabolism and strength is very important it doesnt mean ur bulk ur ugly... tbh kpop artists that are very skinny made me insecure to the point that I can't eat cuz I thought having petite body was great and i had eating disorder i suffered mentally and physically like my mind keeps saying that whatever i do with my body it was not good enough even if i achieved being skinny... and then i had weak muscles and bones so I'm fragile Igot injured easily then I realized how important to eat and build muscles it is very important to help your body have those nutritious food... lifting weights and eating with proper diet helped me and now idc about body image as long as I'm strong...btw guys eat with healthy diet not just diet like cutting your food intake and starving yourself.. have a nice day...
MOONBYUL WAS PERFECT, SHES PERFECT, why did they made her to lose weigth? It was unnecesary, her metabolism changed and now she cannot gain weigth, and she want to gain weigth, and worst, they say "She went from 60kg to 45kg, go0d for hEr", what kind of desease they have? Is their mind good? 60kg for someone who is 1.63m its perfect, what the hell they say?
*From what i gathered over the years, it seems like most idols either had or have an eating disorder. That one dude from Super Junior literally doesn’t eat and they’re a veteran group...*
If I'm a host on some good for long variety show, i should make jokes that would not make the guest hurt even though for you it's a joke but for the person receiving the joke is kinda offended. That's some shit worth of professionalism they have being an idol though.
the hypocrisy "omg poor girl she fainted at the train station" but at the same time they celebrate when someone say she dieted bcs "omg i was nearly 60kg" ?????
This was all kinds of messed up. Moonbyul saying she went from 60kg (~133lbs) to 45kg (~99lbs) and them saying "good for her" is mind boggling. That's not...that's not right. Now, I know this is a very touchy subject and I truly believe that that you shouldn't change your body due to other people's views (change for the health reasons), but they're promoting that unhealthy idea. If Moonbyul is truly happy and HEALTHY then that's different, but she basically had to starve herself to get there. What bothered me too is that the hosts are like "oh they have no energy because they're dieting". THAT IS NOT NORMAL! You should not have to STARVE yourself during a diet. You can have 3 full meals and even snacks while on a diet and still lose weight or build muscle (keep in mind muscle weighs more than fat). You just have to pick healthy choices. Like, eating Eggs, some type of meat, and a carb will do waaaaaay more for you than a bowl of cereal. AND muscle helps you burn more calories even when you're not moving. But you need energy to work out and good fuel to recover your body. So, these healthier foods will aid in that. It just really upsets me when people feel the need to starve themselves for some type of fulfillment and other's encouraging it
I just love everything about them. Also solar's food looks delicious. They are really unique. I just hope normal body is normalized so that no one restricts themselves of basic necessities. :) Also i hope camera doesn't add a few pounds so idols don't have to go to extreme diets. ❤️ Go mamamoo! Inspire mo people!
Maybe the real problem is the fact that even thought they are not forced to diet , they still have to do it BCS THE MENTALITY OF MOST PPL IS BASH IDOL THAT IS NOT FIT. One way or another they have pressure to diet bcs they put a standard where idol HAVE TO BE FIT. Maybe as a fans the first thing we should learn to do is not put a world when idol are not "Sexy" Every idol in kpop is so unnatural beauty visual, and we stan them for that, but we forget most of the time that they are human too. Let's respect every one ❤️ stan mamamoo
so no one is really talking about how solar went to the hospital bc of the colon cleansers, wheein collapsed bc of the suppressors in a train station? damn
I think they need to realise that certain dresses make you look or water weight is a thing, they only know how to talk shit about other people but this woman right here does fucking pole dancing and she picked it up for a fucking music video... she is probably one of the leanest and muscled up female idols, learn what they do instead of commenting what you see from one fucking picture
@@vfb_143 Yes. Moonbyul never gained weight again. She definitely was traumatized since she was supposed to debut in another group under another company but last minute the CEO kicked her out for "being too fat". WTF?! So she lost 30lbs in one month... that's insane! She says her metabolism changed, I doubt that. Usually your BMR LOWERS when you get thinner. I believe her stomach just shrank from eating too little and so eating anything more will make her full easier/not eat more and the subconscious fear of gaining it back.
To maintain a weight of 100lbs at 5'4" is being very strict on yourself for moonstar. Appetite suppressants and Colon cleansers causing hospital trips is so dangerous. Hearing that broke my heart.
I love them and having the mentality that being 45kg is more important than eating normally and feeling healthy is outrageous.
when they talked about dieting, it made me want to cry. my girls shouldn't have to suffer like that
Same, I felt so sad watching this :'( And that other idols go through this too.
I really hate how they talk about Hwasa
« As excepted » (she goes straight into Solar food) While Wheein exactly does the same.
« What does she always lie down » Hey ! You didn’t made 3 comebacks and several collaborations this year.
Um Hwasa has said herself that she likes to lay down and relax a lot, everyone knows this.
Yes I hate this show. And nowadays they are putting Solar on an extremely unhealthy diet, can we all give dislike to this video to express our discontent? I don't want the girls bad treatment to be so normalized!
They said belly return for solar ? Seriously what belly ? It's the type of dress she wore , during that time she was in one of her best shapes.
the way this show triggered every bad memory i have, the level of disrespect, i weight more than solar so i probably could be obese for them even though i'm healthy, someone tell them to shut up
Ikr? Please give dislike. I hate this show so much, they are harming the girls and the viewers.
MB: 1:57 "To the other members, I look happy"
Who else was felt so bad for her at that part?
You guys are PERFECT, don't need to loose weight just be healthy.
its ok to loose weight for your health if you are overweight, or if you are unsatisfied with your body. thats totally alright. but its unreasonable to drop down your bodyweight to almost a 9 year olds weight just for some stupid beauty standards...
imagine collapsing several times due to severe diet, that's really cruel :< your body shape does not affect your talent, why should it be a big factor, right?
WE STAN THEM FOR THEIR TALENT AND CHARISMA NOT THEIR WEIGHTS! WE'LL STILL BE SHOWERING THEM WITH CRAZY LOVE EVEN IF THEY CHOOSE TO MUKBANG ALL THE TIME AND GAIN WEIGHT ❤ They are GEM🔥
this made me so sad, the “before and after” of solar was really out of line.
lmfao they trynna level with mn** with their editing, bruh, the belly wasnt even her real belly, it was part of the dress.
Wow I hate how they kept comparing and over-analyzing their bodies/weight
I LOVE THEM...
bear face hwasa is blessed
"she went from 60kg to 45kg" "good for her" no,WHERE is it good? i mean if she's happy okay but its sad how idols are so pressured they say things like " i was almost 60kg i had to diet"
I watch solar in camping show, she eating so well, I love her 👍
1:48 "i was nearly at 60kg"
Me a 22 yo gal who weights 60kg and is 165cm tall: 👁👄👁
That's a very healthy weight. Depending on the height and age of the idols this 45 kg ideal puts most idols either close to being underweight (barely normal healthy weight) or means they are seriously underweight. Considering the amount of fainting bc of diets and this unhealthy fixation on weight, I would not want anyone to compare themselves to sth. like this.
@@kristin1947 you're good. Be healthy and eat well.
This is the Power of mamamoo in this show. Only mamamoo clips has more views than other bosses in this show. It shows how influential and powerful they are. KBS should treat them better.
Not only shaming Solar but the whole mamamoo...They don't need to diet all the time
pointing out yongsun's belly really wasnt it
*The girls in Mamamoo are all talented and beautiful!!! They don't need dieting, surgery, nothing!!! STOP SHAMING FEMALE IDOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
They are all so pretty with or without make up. In addition the most talented GG for me
The picture comparison was really uncalled for.😒🙄
I'm happy that they are not forced to diet but I hope they do take care of their health well.
Solar is beautiful how dare they say such words to her.
YONGSUN IS THE KINDEST NO MATTER WHAT PPL VIEW HER
Whoever showed those comparison photos are evil and going straight to hell. Our girls are so beautiful no matter what they weigh.
Not to be that person but i don't think they should have shown this on tv especially them talking about how they ate nothing for 3 days and even collapsed this is not normal and it might look like they are glorifying it when in reality this should be condemned i understand some people might think this is their job and they just spoke about how or what they eat and things but this isn't healthy at all not for any idol and certainly not for others, women especially since we are told how to look and what to eat i feel like this just encourages that anyways i
Love mmo tho they are really strong girls and stream aya
Damn...starving, abusing laxatives, collapsing. I hate that they had to go through that.
Hwasa's outfit is mood literally I would wear it everyday if my country is not hot lol
They swiftly and smoothly exposing the reality they are really great
One of the reasons i like this group is that whenever i see them theyre looking healthy and fresh.... and i hope they wont be scared for a few calorie... cutting calorie too much is not also good... just eat whatever u want and stay active for fast metabolism and strength is very important it doesnt mean ur bulk ur ugly... tbh kpop artists that are very skinny made me insecure to the point that I can't eat cuz I thought having petite body was great and i had eating disorder i suffered mentally and physically like my mind keeps saying that whatever i do with my body it was not good enough even if i achieved being skinny... and then i had weak muscles and bones so I'm fragile Igot injured easily then I realized how important to eat and build muscles it is very important to help your body have those nutritious food... lifting weights and eating with proper diet helped me and now idc about body image as long as I'm strong...btw guys eat with healthy diet not just diet like cutting your food intake and starving yourself.. have a nice day...
I like thier agency d ganun ka strict sa pagkain...saludo po ako dun kaya siguro ganyan sila kagaling kasi more energy sila...❤❤❤❤
Hwasa is such a mood and so relatable lol I feel like I'm depleted of energy all the time lol
Seeing byulyi eating well gives me serotonin knowing how she suffered in the past
The editing of this program is really trash, evil, it's not funny at all...kbs you really lost your touch
I wish them healthy metabolisms and glad they eat whatever they want but are also aware of their health and what they need to happy and healthy.
mamamoo really showed how k-pop industry works im proud that they didn't pretend for the sake of the show
Hwasa always looks so chill and comfortable
Mamamoo please stay together forever
MOONBYUL WAS PERFECT, SHES PERFECT, why did they made her to lose weigth? It was unnecesary, her metabolism changed and now she cannot gain weigth, and she want to gain weigth, and worst, they say "She went from 60kg to 45kg, go0d for hEr", what kind of desease they have? Is their mind good? 60kg for someone who is 1.63m its perfect, what the hell they say?
Ofcourse but they want every girl to below 50 kgs "such a stupid thing"
Ikr, I wanted to cry when i saw this
*From what i gathered over the years, it seems like most idols either had or have an eating disorder. That one dude from Super Junior literally doesn’t eat and they’re a veteran group...*
I understand the dieters team. :')
It's so hard and sad when there are delicious food around and you can only eat bland food in small portions. :')
I like that they talk about what they went through and how they change what they do now. Eating wise.
I just came to see all of them eat happily 🤗🤗 especially Hyejin 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️
Let's be honest, it's not your first time here
If I'm a host on some good for long variety show, i should make jokes that would not make the guest hurt even though for you it's a joke but for the person receiving the joke is kinda offended.
Go mamamoo! Inspire mo people!
It's kinda sad to see our idols starving themselves and practising hard at the same time. I feel you girls :(
Glad to see so many people calling out the bullshit body shaming happening.
SEEING WHEEIN MUNCHING IS SAD BUT CUTE AT THE SAME TIME
Can we appreciate Bada for calling Solar cute and adorable XD.
Gosh their diets literally made them collapse and get sent to the ER, ohmyGod
Maybe the real problem is the fact that even thought they are not forced to diet , they still have to do it BCS THE MENTALITY OF MOST PPL IS BASH IDOL THAT IS NOT FIT.
One way or another they have pressure to diet bcs they put a standard where idol HAVE TO BE FIT. Maybe as a fans the first thing we should learn to do is not put a world when idol are not "Sexy"
Every idol in kpop is so unnatural beauty visual, and we stan them for that, but we forget most of the time that they are human too. Let's respect every one ❤️ stan mamamoo
The hosts need a weighing machine for themselves before commenting.. 😂😂😂
언니들 녹음하고 맛있는거 많이먹어,,,
진짜 복스럽게 먹는다 다들 ❤️
our baby hyejin
They deserve best
so no one is really talking about how solar went to the hospital bc of the colon cleansers, wheein collapsed bc of the suppressors in a train station? damn
Brother sister our leader is coming with great song again, be ready to enjoy the new debut ROCKSTAR!
just imagine this is just Mamamoo a 4 members group diet experience
emergency,collapse
uhhh it's scary
treat them with respect
I like how they over exaggerated everything even though all of them are just having a meal together like wth 🤢
In the bit talking about their weight they were acting like it was a drastic change and they were huge like huh
Didn’t Like how They showed those pictures of solar.. also these idols wouldn’t need to diet at all.. we need to normalize that
When Byul being at 60kg was at her right and healthy weight and she lost 15kg... 😞 That's what I hate about kpop
She was traumatized by her old company. They kicked her out one week before she supposed to debut with other group.
He's 162cm right? I think 60kg is curvy because I'm 164cm and 50kg and I feel the need to lose some weight
@@anneanne2509 you don't need to lose any weight.
@@carrie.m I already lost some weight now I'm 46kg as I have fast metabolism and stressed out too much 😅
I would seriously watch Hwasa's mukbang show if there's one. NO DOUBT.
I love hwasa so muchh😭😭🤣🤣💖💖
That's life stay strong
Mamamoo: "No Diet Club 2021"
Solji's willpower is what i need in life 😍🥰
To maintain a weight of 100lbs at 5'4" is being very strict on yourself for moonstar. Appetite suppressants and Colon cleansers causing hospital trips is so dangerous. Hearing that broke my heart. Happy to see their doing things in a healthy manner now. Idol's/rapper's etc have such a huge affect our youth now a days. I already have a young patient who said she wants to be smaller than lisa from black pink and then she will feel better, she's only 12 years old. I told her that lisa does not lead an unhealthy lifestyle, she eats healthy and does pilates besides dancing everyday. And she admitted to not eating for days and then binge eating. The industries everywhere need to take owner ship and stop this. Then it will flow out to families and cultures to be healthy and fit. Gotta start somewhere.
I really love how Mamamoo dedication and self-control. I love you Mamamoo! Entertaining and funny. But I hope the editor would not be that mean in editing. I don't think it funny how they criticize one's belly. It's actually amazing how they do that l.
It's horrible how they laugh, ignore, and criticise them for fainting, weakness, and starving themselves
They are just amazing 😂
they were born to be an idol with that strong mindset. i envy them they can have strong determination
People need to stop portraying people's personalities in a bad way when it is not true. Buylie and Solar are both very athletic, whereas Wheein and Hwasa are more chill. This does not mean they are lazy or that they don't pay attention to their health. Screw anybody who shifts the weight/beauty paradigm in SK and shames ANY gg trying to say they should be slimmer that only leads to unhealthy body expectations to young girls who look up the these artists. STOP IT!
Solar really lives up to her name, she’s so energetic and affects others in a way that reminds you of the sun XD
