A lot of people complaining about this new feature but I’m actually a big fan of it and I’ll explain why. I do almost everything in the game except for pvp but want to get into it, but the main reason I play this game in general is because I like to collect things and getting a rare shiny or a hundo makes me the most excited. Lately I’ve started to lose motivation to play cus I’ve got 1300+ shiny and it’s rare that I actually catch something that makes me excited these days. So for the last 2 years or so I’ve mainly been playing when cool events were happening but it wasn’t really grinding (unless it’s go fest than I’m walking 30km a day😂). I think that last time I was this excited about a new feature was when shadow Pokémon came out. The reason why this is cool to me is because I can do all the battles by myself (I know it will probably change with more difficult bosses but will still be easier to do than most legendary raids cus I only need 3 extra players). I like the fact that I can go on a shiny hunt for those new dynamax Pokémon and I’ve done 30 battles in 2 days since it came out and probably would have done more if I didn’t have to work. Like it actually makes me want to go out and explore again. Walking from one stop to another hoping to get that shundo dynamax charmander. Like it’s a new feature and so many people are talking about what they wish niantic added but to me it makes sense why they released only a couple of dynamax Pokémon so that people can learn how it all works and also to fix the bugs that came with it. If I remember correctly when shadow Pokémon came out at the beginning it was also only kanto starters and they couldn’t even be shiny wich for me made it boring pretty fast cus I wasn’t all that much into meta relevant stuff. Now I do appreciate a good iv meta shadow Pokémon but this feature also grew over time so I think people need to chill out a bit and appreciate that we get something new in the game that we can grind. And if u don’t like it, nobody is making you do those battles. But I think it’s fun to do them, hope to get good ones and prepare for more difficult bosses and gigantamax Pokémon.
Can you solo it with a wooloo with no abilities unlocked? I myself leveled up my dubwool and greedents abilities, trainer tips said he wasn’t going to level up his wooloo and wait till the battles start. He missed out on thousands of particles I think that’s unwise to tell people to do that. I’m gonna try tomorrow with my level 1 wooloo just to see
@@traverserred i soloed it using wooloo. just tried it and manage to got it first try. dubwool is a safe out. i promise you this is like a 1star normal raid
Unless it has Zen Headbutt (Beldum learns it via TM), Beldum won't gonna touch you, so, Charmander seems an easy pick. Make sure to level up to Charizard to sweep the raid within 30 seconds.
I kinda wished there was more freedom in terms of what you can put into max dens since getting free candies and possibly candy xls isn't that bad of an award as long as more useful or harder to obtain pokemon could be used. Maybe that could be a feature in the future, but maybe not.
How early was this video recorded??? Max daily limit is 800, and you can collect the 300 by walking 2km multiple times per day. Best method is spin four stops and collect 300. Giving you 780/800 daily limit before collecting another 300 by walking, pushing you over daily limit.
It just seems so awkward. It's a whole side game loop that hardly crosses over with regular features. It'd be like if Megas had only let you use Megas to raid them, but couldn't be used in regular raids.
It would be like if you couldn't put megas in gyms, or use them against team rocket or in pvp It sucks a** when you can't use the mechanics in the other aspects of the game
it doesn't cross over to any other feature though, right? Even worse, it wastes the resources you got from other features. It's too early to make an opinion I guess, I think it'll get some sort of rework later down the line, kinda like how the mega evolution got

Pretty sure Gastly will be introduced for the Spooky season. With the glitch where you can Dynamax a a pokemon and then swipe a few times, Gengar and Gastly were able to take advantage of this glitch along with Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Beldum (and their evolutions). This tells me these are likely coming soon since all of them except Gastly (and family) have already been announced.
Yes you can use the Mons with the Dynamax ability in any other game mode - they just cant Dynamax outside of the max battles so they stay in their normal form
New budget strat to clutch a shiny, save max power points for one day use them like at night the next day collect points for the second day and either use them then or wait for morning to do a third days worth in a row. On top of that use youR three days worth of gyming coins for more points. This will give you 12-16 dynamax encounters in a row depending on if you go over your daily points, all without spending money.
So let me get this straight. I'm supposed to 'raid' every pokemon in the game again to get new shinys and new IVs one pokemon at a time and only a handful a day? I think I'm going to quit pokemon go over this

I thought that the Max move was going to be the main type of the pokemon no?? Also, all the one-star max battles are solo able, and another thing about the max battles, they are not turn based like in the main series game's where you attack then they attack, it's you spamming moves in a normal state then when you can dynamax you can select a move to use (from up to your three max moves of the pokemon, if you have the other two moves unlocked) up to three times before you de-dynamax and go back to spam tapping, you also are timed for what move to use otherwise the game will make a choice of an attack for you indicated by a white bare around the move the game system is going to use for you.
When you defeat a Dynamax at a power spot on the first day, does a new one appear on the second day? I noticed that in two of the power spots I beat, no new Dynamax appeared afterward. Maybe it's just one per spot? What have you observed in your area?
Nah, the Kanto Starters don’t have access to their Comm Day moves via Evolution this event. I’d rather we wait until December Comm Day, that way if by any chance Niantic gives us the ability to evolve Charmeleon and Wartortle into Charizard and Blastoise to get thier Comm Day Moves, then we should capitalize by evolving those D-Max Pokemon then.
Unfortunately, Venusaurs kinda screwed here because it didn’t have a Comm Day Classic last year, so we might have to suck it up and use an Elite Charged TM to get its Legacy Move.

Basically you are saying that all my 100% IV lvl 50 Pokemon that have future dynamax are worthless because I will need to catch identical copy, evolve it, get it's legacy move and lvl it up to 50 with a dynamax version...wonderful :D Btw does the dynamax move take the charged attack? I'm kinda confused on the point of the whole system. Local only requires you to go outside. Makes sense it is in line with what nyantic's goal. But the fact that you can only use dynamax pokemon to do a raid sure but only specific pokemon can be dynamaxed doesn't make sense. It almost feels like they just built a self contained mini game inside of pokemon go insted of a new feture. If I grinded many hours and got a perfect iv it should be able to be dynamax if the form was released. since it can't the whole feture just seems like a skippable mini game. Routs seems to give better rewards for far less effort and expense and all you have to do is walk a few km. Routs feels like a part of the game where dynamax really doesn't feel that way
It is self contained atm (they’re argument is for old players to feel afresh anew) But to optimize only dynamax builds & pve builds which is dust efficient which sucks if you powered every other perfect before that… I hope that niantic releases max soup for you to dynamax any of your choice

I have been playing casually for only 5 days level 26 and my town feels dead, ive taken over most of the gyms here (12 gyms) and been holding it for 3 days now.. no raids and no parties or anything.. how do people get into raids in this kind of situation?
You can get 1080 max particals a day. First you have to collect the 300 from walking two KM on the power spots tab, under the pokemon nearby radar. Then spin four power spots which is 400-480 max particals (rng involved). Followed by another 300 max particals after walking another two KM. This can yield 1080 if all four power spots give 120. 300+480+300. Which is more than the daily limit of 800! Only side note is that you have to use MP if you go over a 1000 total, to get the rest of the days MP.
I kind of hope so. Won all 5 solo. I was able to use a Charmander I just won, to beat another Charmander. No power up, no level up. When you Dynamax you get

You can solo the kanto starters in dynamax so dont be scared on fighting it alone.

Charmander seems to be most desirable to go for atleast in the short term to help fight beldum. Bulbasaur is my fav of the three though.

Pokedaxi is it really worth it to Max out our Max moves? When our Pokemon is generating energy they reduce 50% of hp in a empty Max spot .

What I did was to get squirtle since my wooloo had wild charge so now that I have squirtle I will get charmander than bulbersaur

This remote raid banning on shadow, 4 star, and now this max raid is completley stupid. The main series allows for wireless joining of battles.
