I was binging JL episodes on Netflix many years ago for a few back to back to back days and when Solomon Grundy sacrificed himself plus the funeral scene at the end with Hawk Girl deliverying the eulogy at the end played, I was in TEARS. I couldn't even play the next episode. There's an episode down the road in the Unlimited continuation of JL where his body is resurrected and Hawk Girl puts him, essentially her friend, down. I think there are three that you didn't mention, but really needed to be on this list, and a reason why honorable mentions was especially needed for this top 20:
The first one is that episode from Tom and Jerry which's name I unfortunately forgot, the one all about Tom's flashbacks on how he tried to impress a lady cat but miserably failed. And that ending scene, man... The horror it brought to me as a 5-year old watching the episode could not be understated.
The other one is finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Other ones I can excuse, but this one I straight up can not, because you have covered this series _multiple times._ Seriously, not only it is one of the saddest episodes of any Animated Series ever created, it also elevates the OG Order 66 scene from Revenge of the Sith, because you got to know all the characters that got brutally assassinated throughout the runtime of the series, not to mention the ''soulless'' killers that turned against their masters as well.
And the final one... Do I even need to say it? It's obviously The Hardest Thing, from Amphibia. I got genuinely baffled on how this one wasn't included on the list, for it is one of the only pieces of cinematic content, together with the ending scene of The Iron Giant, that managed to make tear me up a bit. I won't even dare to spoil a thing about this magnificent finale, because it needs to be experienced by oneself to be fully appreciated. Not even a single comment says a thing about it, how's that so?..

Honestly, as one of the many people who get weirdly depressed around Christmas, Charlie Brown's Christmas always spoke to me on a personal level.
It's always heart-wrenching when he describes it as "Not feeling how I'm SUPPOSED to feel". Because it just drives home how many people with mental illness are expected to act or feel happy; even during times when we're just trying to hang on and get through the next few hours.
It also points out that things like commercialism totally ruins the holiday vibe.
