- Lancer is back on her natal nest and having fun in the morning hovering up & do and then pulling and playing with a long guard rail stick! She has lift off with that stick in her talons but finds all she can do is move it a little to the side of the nest! 😊 Thank you for watching!

Lady Hawk, isn't that Lancer's contribution stone she has clutched in her left talon at the very beginning of the video? She switches talons and comes back down with it in her right talon @ 1:49 or 1:50? I tried to zoom in on the video on my desktop screen but it just enlarged the screen thus taking Lancer out of the frame, if that makes sense. I'm just curious to know if you can tell if that is her stone? Thank you, Lady Hawk, for your time. 😍 P.S. Have you heard any more regarding Victor? Thank you.❤
You who live nearby should take a load of sticks and fluff out there for the eagles to build their rails for the safety of the chicks on that flat hard rock. That was so sad when Lancer could only contribute a rock to the nest.
Hi Jax the eagles are very skilled at finding and bringing in adequate sticks enough to build and maintain two very large eagle nests here. Lancer was practicing her fishing/hunting skills by bringing in that small stone to the nest and that was a great contribution! Most of the eaglets fail to bring back anything to their natal nest before they leave so Lancer is ahead of the pack! :) I know that Dr Sharpe will also add or fix those guard rails when he goes up to the nest each season!
