- Gyro's are a well loved delicacy across the world. But few are as big as this one from Platia! For todays giant food challenge we have to complete a large gyro, a hummus, some falafel and chicken souvlaki! This Mediterranean food challenge had a 30 minute time limit, in which if we could complete it we would walk away with the meal for free! Can we defeat this giant food challenge? Or will it beat us?

Wow at 21:12 the slight of hand is amazing. He flips the deck over after a false shuffle, palms the card and folds it and tosses it into his mouth when he brings the deck up to his mouth.

That red seasoning is paprika. The french fries on the gyro is how they do it in Greece. Seeing falafel and hummus at a Greek place always gets me because neither one of those items are Greek, but all the food looks awesome, although the gyro on the spit has never failed me.
Hummus has been a greek cypriot dish for at least a few hundred years, so I think that's fair enough. (They call it humoi)
I guess my point is; Are you saying that a restaurant can only serve foods that they can prove were actually invented in the country they represent?
The red seasoning it's not paprika in Greece.
It's ground red pepper that only grows in Greece and taste nothing like paprika(its more spicy).

Out of all the challenges I seen you do this is one I think I could do without any prior experience. I grew up eating Gyros and I absolutely love them. You know its good when Joel licks his plate.

You putting the food away was much cooler than the second to last trick. Clearly he tore it under the table then when he sat it on the table it was underneath the whole time. The others were number driven. The last one not too sure about but the way you put food away is much more impressive!

I love Gyros, and hummus. I like peppers, roasted garlic, and jalapenos in my hummus. Also, one of my favorite things to dip in it are pork rinds.
