It's painful to fall at the final hurdle, but it was a great campaign and I'm sure we all have nothing but respect and pride for the boys returning home. Roll on the 6 nations!
@@23lnp Arrogance? It's all factual. I think anyone who knows Rugby would say England wanted to play France. There's a huge rivalry and it would've been a good prep game against a higher tier team. In knock out comps extra time us never anything but a hindrance. Even the Kiwis were saying the extra time befire the final could work in Saffas favour.

The RFU didn't cancel the game, World Rugby did, which funnily enough is comprised of over 100 nations and is headquartered in Ireland. I also said nothing of 2023. I’d like to say start by saying congratulations to South Africa, they deserve it and they probably needed it more than we did. I’d also like to say thank you to England, I’ve never been so proud of a team that competes in a spirt that I had no previous interest in.
You went away as hopefuls. You came home as heroes. You’re probably sick of all this and want to put it behind you, but in my mind this will be remembered as a huge success. A silver medal, landmark victory over NZ, and you’re probably the youngest team in the tournament. Amazing gents.
This was a brilliant series. Whoever was behind the concept, direction and execution of this series deserves a pat on the back. Well done.

Don't be defined by the loss in the Final - focus on the brilliant performances beforehand, and on how you can improve over the next four years and go one step further in France. You're a young team with the potential to improve together. Look at how the All Blacks reacted in 2007, or England did in 1999 - they came back four years later and got the job done.

Even though it wasn’t the performance any of us wanted or expected in the final, in the context of English rugby and the tournament as a whole it was a brilliant set of performances against Australia and the ABs, and we have proved just how good of a squad we have in world rugby. The run to the final and the belief we had in you guys pays testament to the efforts you put in across the past months and years. The rising sons videos have really helped me feel part of the tournament and squad and I’m grateful for this kind of content, long may it continue. Six nations, we go again! 🏴🏴🏴

he'll be 32, so he won't be starting if he makes the squad. A lot of the current team won't be at the world cup as they are all around the same age as Farrell. Most of them are 28/29/30. This was the last chance for this squad and they blew it.

Ahh what a special video, as a Saffa just want to say congrats to this England team, players coaches everyone involved, you probably had the best world cup of all the teams without having to take an extra passenger home. The dismantling of the AB's was probably the best game of the tourney for me. What Eddie did whit this side is remarkable, you guys have to keep him on until the next world cup. I think one of the things to work on perhaps is making sure that your bench is deadly and able to make a big difference when they come on, this was one of new zealand biggest weapons over the years and it was great when rassie started to use that mindset for us in south africa. Tom Curry my favorite English player, that's a future captain there, humble, gracious in defeat, one would almost mistake him for an all black or springbok😂😂😂🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 just kidding guys we know his English, but a top lad

Thnx to Rising Sons for giving so many of us the opportunity to follow England on their incredible journey to the RWC final. I'm glad my team won, but at the same time I feel for you!
