I really can't with those players who attack you when you kill one member of their herd, as if you don't have to survive. It's literally a " SURVIVAL " game !
i just had to quit the game bc I was so excited to be hunted and have the experience of a tense chase, but no, every herd I'm in just chases the preds around even tho we cant hit them and then more end up dying cus they wont leave the preds alone after they kill. it sucks cus I though the spook/flee would stop this and I was so so excited :(
people are just very toxic, if you can get a nice realism server or just a server that hosts sessions, it really makes a difference. I was in a server on call with a ton of people, at least over 20 and we all became horses and fled every attack. Yet, despite running, like how realistic flight animals would react to danger, we instead got backlash for fleeing. But, if it's the other way around where we attack instead of flee, we are then playing unrealistic and get insane backlash. Neither way is good enough for the toxic people, and I am hoping it won't effect the ECOS server and community.

They need to make something where there’s fear in the goddamn herbivores like if the fucking player won’t run “instincts”should just take over so the player can’t do nothing or maybe stress until they die
I think they did , In the hunting prey video by the ecos team they showed a mechanic similar to fight or flight , but it’s some of the players fault for not just being normal and playing like a normal prey.

There is actually 'fear'. It's called spook mode, this can be activated if you successfully sneak up on a herd without one of them alerting you. (When they mark you, the spook mode will not activate once you attack) So, if you can manage to hide yourself while sneaking them, you should be able to activate their spook. Spook mode makes it so they cant attack for a couple of minutes which basically forces them to run like realistic flee animals. (unless they are to braindead to realize they cant attack.)
Trying to corpse guard, there is a mechanic that disables herbivores from attacking around corpses. It protects predators from starving due to asshole herb players, it also gives the other herbs time to run off, these people were stupid as hell.
I appreciate the fact that they let predators hold their own in situations like this, instead of just being annihilated by the two other horses you were able to chase one off and kill the other, even if they were camping
NGL i kinda enjoy the pvp. As yesterday me and 2 other bison killed like a 7 members mega pack of like 13, but than one logged of so the remaining 6 overpowered us (mainly cause the put us into shock and we could not do anything about it) and i also will admit, every time they rested we charged but this was only cause we new they would keep coming back
ive been playing it on my laptop that wasn't made for gaming and it runs smooth on up to half graphic quality. idk my specs but I think it will run well on lower graphics

I got into two very toxic discussions because people said I was kosing but they attacked my pack after we killed one of them
