So many different triggers, the variety didn't let me fall asleep because there was always something new and wonderfully sounding! Edited to add that Dmitri's joy with the slime was so nice to see and brought me joy too!
Dmitri is the only ASMR artist who can do these kind of noise videos in a way that works for me. Mostly I only respond to voices but all his stuff is great.
It’s so irritating that so many other asmrtists get 1m sub so fast and this legend has to walk such a long and legendary path for the same amount of followers. He is clearly getting demotivated by this. I think that every time he comes back he expects to boom and get at least that 1m. He should have some kind of awareness project or something because look at this. Another 8 months has passes again. I must say, when he finally hits that 1m he will have walked a much more legendary and real path then other asmrtists IMO - and it will be thus more rewarding then. BUT HE DESERVES IT!!! He is like #1!
Algorithm hates creators that disappear for 8+ months at a time on 4-5 different occassions. If he was consistent and didn't flake out for long periods without explanation, he would probably be at 2+ million subs by now.
When I was just starting to watch ASMR videos around 6 years ago, whenever I watched his videos, I always thought of this guy as the master of all ASMRtists, like he held the highest position. I really don't know why I thought of him that way, maybe because he is really good at it.
Anytime he disappears for longer than a week, I get weird he's not coming back for 24 month vibes. Absolute G.O.A.T though, and I look forward to the TH-cam notification in 2026

This is literally the universe of asmr. In the first years of the universe, it was so dense (in our case, a lot of videos) but after billions of years (say an year is an billion years here) it gradually started to be less dense (less videos).
I don't know who needs to hear this right now but remember that you did everything you could in that situation, it wasn't your fault. Don't stress about it and blame yourself for things that are beyond your control, I promise things will get better for you and you will find a beautiful future ahead. You have what it takes to endure any hardship. Wishing you peace, love and happiness
