I love your your work - the scale, the colors, the vibrancy. I do have to say that your ‘hooker’ etymology isn’t correct. It is a US euphemism that was applied to the women who followed the army commanded by General Joseph Hooker during the Civil War. At least that was the derivation that I learned.
