I will always love this band and Ryan Tedder's music. The man is an extremely talented musical genius, in my opinion. :) His music always reaches into my soul. I can be having a really off day with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, etc. and this makes me able to let it all go w/o having a meltdown. He's a very special person.. now famous but still so humble and real.

I think I like this version better than the other. It's something about the way the instruments sound combined with the homey, comforting feel. This seems to make the song more heartfelt and serious. I love it!

Needed to open with the cello like the original. That is what gave this song its deep, longing but honest tones that made you just want to melt into it. THEN they should have added a violin and guitar for more emphasis along with the clapping and drum. This was good but the cello, violin and guitar would have been GREAT and absolutely tear-inducing beautiful!

i love how he sounds the same on the album and in acoustic versions, if not the same, better
It's 2020 and I think it's still one of their most likable songs. The last masterpiece (at least to me) Let's hurt tonight unfortunately didn't receive the amount of attention it really would've deserved, anything else that followed was too much just "chasing the money", if you understand what I mean. Especially No Vacancy was a total disappointment. Same goes for Wanted. And Didn't I - come on! The only one who's satisfied with this is Ryan. Rich Love wasn't that bad but nothing that would've deserved to be more successful. Same goes for Connection. Guess I'm done with 1R for the moment.
The last video I liked was Start Again, btw.Just the concept, oc. ;)
