@ had replaced my blower motor already, im thinking it has to be a restriction somewhere. Only thing i havent done is the evaporator behind the dash. Everything else was replaced recently
Just an update my compressor clutch relay wasn’t working properly, I replaced the relay and the clutch is cycling how is supposed to know and the system working great now, line is not freezing anymore
That ac pressure switch in front of the radiator is for the “high” side correct? Where is the pressure switch for the “low” side? Is it on the clutch? I have a 2014 Tacoma.
Excellent video. I have an 08' SR5 V6. My 4x4 system was inconsistent and very clunky until I changed my tires and TPM Sensors (Light was on). Now, my 4x4 works flawlessly. How does the TPMS system play into the 4x4 operation?
Funny- after having some work done on my Sequoia at the dealership, my a/c wouldn’t blow cold. I found a disconnected high pressure switch. Wonder how that happened?.,,
i have a 2004 toyota 4runner and AC doesn’t work. when i turn on AC, compressor turns on but within 4 seconds it shuts down and light starts flashing on dash. i have recharged system. i have replaced AC pressure switch where you did the jump test on. i have also replaced the AC relay in fuse box. still no matter what the compressor only turns on for 4 seconds and then light flashes. air is blowing hot even when the AC light is steady for the 4 seconds. help please
Hi thanks for the video I have a Toyota Corolla 05 and he only blows cool a/c when I jump the relay area and if I put the relay the compressor doesn't engage only when I jump with a cable and the relay is good what do you think is the problem
Use needle nose player and u don’t check u just swap it to confirm u have working relay checking is big hassle and long time and serious schematic diagrams u need
Last summer i deduced my evaporator took a shit on me. Couldnt get pressure to hold and did a uv test. Saw the green coming from the condensate and also contorted my body somehow under the dash to see up the vents to look near the evaporator with my uv light and saw green spatter every where from the small area i could see. Wish i could find a mechanic like you near by so i could know for sure before undergoing that long project.
Friend, I have the code: C1253 Hydraulic brake booster pump motor relay. My question is if I should change the whole part or if there is a relay ( Toyota 4Runner 2003 SR5 )
Great video- no BS, no “handsome”face stuff! Question: do I need to drain system before replacing the switch or there is a shrader valve under the switch?
Hey RB thanks for this! On my GF's 4runner this switch connector(what you jumpered) is cracked/broken. I have been trying to find a replacement connector online with no luck. Any chance you could point me in the right direction? 2003 4runner
Hello RB. I have this model 4Runner and my ac was working fine before I added some Freon (I wanted colder air) Now the ac blows cold air for a short bit the warm. Can you help me fix this issue. Thanks

When low side line freezes up what are possible issues with it?
Blow motor or too much oil or restriction in system

There’s only one pressure switch

Once u get the tire light the system goes to fail safe mode it might not even work

@@RBTheMechanic I should check the pressure with the jump cable or the relay?
How do we remove the clutch relay and how do we check it to see it it’s good or not? TIA

U have to take the old one off and match it at part store
@@RBTheMechanic Can you remove and replace the switch while the system is charged with freon? Or do you have to have it evacuated first?

If u used ac cans! That is no good u have to use ac machine recover vaccum and recharge correct amount other wise it will never be good

Yes if ur ac low side line is cold then u can check the blend door motor it’s could be stuck on heat side
My line has no pressure
Trace down the leak and repair it ac will not activate without pressure
