Swim to the middle of the compass on the map. There are seriously little Whale Sharks. Its so cool. I'm not lying. Swim around there a little and they should spawn

I found a ton of these locations because my JAWS copy (or really copies) were all bugged so that i couldn't go past mission 5 :(
This is 5 years too late, but I played the hell out of this game when I was younger, and I could never get past the refinery mission. So I basically stayed in the open world. It sucked, but I got some fun out of it before my disk stopped working altogether.

James, to shoot the barrels out of your mouth, you use your charge attack and you don't have to fling it. You can also go to the edge of the map, grab a whale shark, go to the surface to the water, do the same thing and... well, you'll see what happens, and you'll record it, and your reaction will be amazing.

You know... You could destroy those little submarine machines by holding the bite button, I think it's the right button (RB) or R2 (I think the button is R2) in PlayStation if I remember correctly. That way you give a big strong bite, by doing what you have been doing (pressing it and then releasing it) you do no damage to them. Not to mention that biting the, is much easier than hitting them with your nose or tail. And you can also swallow humans and other small sea creatures by holding the bite button and the quickly release it, press it again and keep holding it. Do this process about 3 to 4 times. You will know when you can't do it anymore cause you will se a blood cloud and pieces of meat coming out of your mouth.

in real life, sharks have dorsal fins that prevents them from doing a corkscrew attack, they don't have the proper jaw shape to do it, and also they would get paralyzed upside down

I never had an issue with disc. Loved this game. As a kid it looked so good and was so fun.
