Amity Island is growing, making corporate connections with prestigious companies like Environplus to improve the Island's economy. Unfortunately the increased population around the Island and recent industrial activity has also attracted one of Earth's most fearsome creatures and (since all humans are perhaps villains) the game's hero: a great white shark. When the Environplus CEO's son is eaten by the ferocious beast, the CEO hires renowned shark hunter Cruz Raddock to track and kill it. Meanwhile, Marine Biologist Michael Brody tries to capture the shark for research

This game was awesome for it's era. Could you imagine if there was a shark as ruthless as the original Jaws. Maneater took inspiration from this and made that game way more crazy. Kind of like God of War from the originals to the reboot in the current setting.
Did you know it in the Jaws movie the director didn’t tell who is going to be pulled down so it made it more scary for a mechanical shark to bring somebody down randomly

The details in this game of the human victims being able to bleed out from limb loss and being able to drown makes this game ahead of its' time imo. 🦈
Orcas are highly intelligent. They even know about the shark's weakness of flipping them upside-down to put them in catatonic state. And thus feed on them at will.
Just one problem, those orcas were raised in CAPTIVITY! They never seen a shark before

Actually, when you had that one lifeguard in your mouth when you failed the challenge, the lifeguard was still alive. You have to either tear them apart viciously to full kill them OR swallow them whole by press and holding R1 two times
As a person who played the heck out of this game I was screaming through most of this episode XD
Especially the orca fight. You just had to ram him to stun him Beaver. Then it only takes like 3-4 bites to kill him. And don't charge him head on. But oh well, over now, Beaver won.
And if you charge up the ram meter while holding a person and let go of it you can toss them much further. You can also swallow prey whole by repeating the click and hold R1 with something in your mouth. Keep it up!

Beaver, when you have something holding in Jaws mouth, tap R1(if i remember the bite button correctly) repeatedly & he'll chew the thing in his mouth before swallowing it whole

Im a master at this game, heres a tip for ending your prey way easier: when you have a victim in your mouth (while holding the bite button) press it 3 times in a paused way, and theen youuur victim will literally explote in blood

One time I went to a dolphin show where you could pet dolphins and when one of the trainers threw a toy in the water and the dolphin gave it to me !!!
beaver, there's some special upgrade that'll let you throw humans and jaws will jump out and chomp them using R2 and then press R1 if i'm not wrong. you can also swallow prey by tapping R1 within a sec and keep hold it :D

James how could killing my random fellow lifeguards XD but. To be in all seriousness I'm actually am a lifeguard as my job &. To tell you what the lifeguards are doing its a move that. Many lifeguards do all at once to find a person. That is drowning & has gone under the waters surface. Doing allows the best chance of find the poor soul & all the lifeguards then dive underwater. Swiping the sea floor this helps in finding the person by feeling around & this keeps being repeated again & again until the person is found.
If you were a life guard in Australia you'd need a lot of vinegar
