Heilung is an experimental folk music band made up of members from Denmark, Norway, and Germany. Their music is based on texts and runic inscriptions from Germanic peoples of the Iron Age, and Viking Age. Heilung describe their music as "amplified history from early medieval northern Europe". According to Faust, the name of the band, "Heilung", which means "healing" in German, says something about the style of the band: "The listener is supposed to be left at ease and in a relaxed state after a magical musical journey that is at times turbulent". The recordings of the band are not limited to music, but also contain poems and the spoken word. The references to the early ages of European Civilization are also made by using texts from historical artefacts or historical poems. The languages used are varied, with German, English, Gothic, Old High German, Icelandic, Latin, Old English, Proto-Norse, Proto-Germanic, and Viking age Old Norse being used.

I say this not to complain, you already apologised and i doubt it was anyone's fault,, but i say it is not something only happening to laptops and phones

Are trolls ugly looking giant creatures in Old Norse paganism before Christianity? Also is the trolls in God of War Ragnarok accurate with the trolls in Old Norse paganism before Christianity?

I had the honour of attending a ceremony performed by Heilung in January 23rd this year in Glasgow. I have mental health issues, bad one's, one of the symptoms is NOT wanting to leave the house, NOT wanting to be around people, especially a large crowd and loud music, and self harming behaviour, but I forced myself to attend the ceremony after my partner constantly showed me your videos and music, and all I can say is that afterwards I was changed......beyond anything I thought was possible. This ceremony actually helped me heal myself through my own actions. My life has changed so much since then, going outside is no problem, I feel connected with everything around me, my depression is better, almost gone, I'm painting, doing photography, and removed toxic people and habits from my life, just happier in general. I would love to meet the entire tribe of Heilung and thank them and hug them all especially Christopher , (the heartbeat of Heilung), who I was standing about 6 feet away from during the ceremony, the drums just gripped my heart and soul and steered me onto a new path. May the God's bless you all and all people. Love and appreciation from Scotland. P.S, my partner was jumped on by one ofthe Heilung Warriors and his head was covered in black body paint from him......he didn't want to wash it off lol.

One day I will see Heilung live. But the point I want to agree with, in the early 90s was 1st time had my tarot read. The girl who read it was a class mate who went to the catholic grade school with. She was starting on her WICCAN path. I found Wiccan like the catholics. Our way or no way. Being near 50 50 German Norwegian Odin, Thor and the norse gods pulled but was no information to be found. I think this one of the few good things about the web. Paganism was set free from behind the gatekeepers lock. And opened up a greater knowledge base to all.

They hike in nature a lot, that's more useful than being heavy and ripped. Kai did some fasting too. Humans in the ancient past eat sparingly and modern body building where you target areas and look at a mirror wasn't a thing. People did hard work, endurance and agility helped survival more than being buff and not flexible.

I did a 3 mile rucksack march the other night with a 50lb pack to keep in shape to bow hunt elk at 12,000 ft this fall. I go out at night on this path behind my house and often listen to Heilung. One time the moon was huge cresting over the horizon and It was this crazy spiritual experience. Just being out in the cold dark with a heavy ass pack cranking over a hill watching the same moon my ancestors saw rise into the sky. Sad to think I was out there alone while everyone else was inside wasting away their soul to their TVs.

The God's wait for our return!
    Remember everyone!
The God's for the most part dont care how we worship and keep them, they just care that we do.
Every prayer, every blot, every sacrifice is worthy.
The christians were very throurough in their destruction of the Old Way.
But they didn't destroy the foundation.
We can rebuild it from the ground up.

He already misunderstands history early on. The Celtic people aren't any more indigenous to Europe than Germanic people, and they aren't different by blood. Both descend from the Rhineland Bell Beakers of about 2500 BC. There's a weird mythologising when it comes to Celts as if they were fairies living in the trees for millions of years before anyone else turned up

If You are reffering to 5:17 , there might be a reason why he uses the air quotes gesture when saying that, don't You think?

Yes spirituality and capitalism merchandise tells a lot about these people, really disappointing. Like touring the whole Europe didn't give you enough money. I was expecting more content.

All his life he studies this belief to just end up believing in rune magic? Worst part about tv shows making our beliefs popular is the wave of freaks that cling to it and make it a mockery. Seems like great man though. Nailed everything else to my mind. I’ll have to watch more interviews. Thank you
