For starters, it's easier to put together a kit. It has different prices. Depending on where you live, there are kit factories nearby. Nauticurso, Dumas, Amati, Billing Boats, Occre... But, if you don't want to invest in a kit, you can find free plans of boat models on the internet, where you have all the parts to cut them yourself in marine plywood and assemble . I've done several like this, because many models don't have kits. Need help, just ask.

@@krause.scalemodels Thanks, I have built or helped build a real racing sailing boat and a 20 ft skiff for myself in the UK, back in the day. I will probably just keep watching and admiring.

@@zaedlo I make little boats out of twigs, wire and glue them together in a frame and then weave that with cane. Over that I layer paper (mache) strips then lacquer/paint and wax. You can make anything out of anything
