Catra really has a good heart. Despite how evil Shadow Weaver was to her, she still tried to stop her from fighting the big baddie coz it might kill her. She could've just escaped and left SW to die but she pleaded for her to stop. Also, it was good to hear that SW finally acknowledged Catra, saying she was proud of her. That part was so moving coz that's what Catra's been wanting from her all her life.
I hate sw and one good thing cannot change that. Is like accepting your child at your death bed. Fuck you they needed you all their life and you only abused them. Catra can be as emotional as she wants about it because feeling towards parental figures are complicated, but I don't have to be emotional for sw. She was awful and her dying trying to redeem for her past mistakes was the only appropriate think to do.

The ending kiss scene adora looks surprised that when she says "i love you too" catra goes for a kiss. Made me wonder if adora "Loves her" but not in the same way catra does. Adoras just going with the flow because she does love catra and doesnt want to hurt her but doesnt love her romantically
Four seasons ago (season 1) Adora was the closest thing to Catras heart, but, when she left, Catra felt betrayed. As a result, Catra built walls around her heart, walls full of spikes and stems of thorns guarded by guards who prevent anyone to break her heart again, but on top of those walls, those stems of thorns, out of sight were roses, roses to show that Catra isnt as cruel as she seems. As the seasons progressed on, Adora came back to the heart but unsuccessful to break the walls of her stoned heart. Four seasons later (Season 5) Catras walls stood weak against its surroundings and once again Adora came back to her, faced of the guards who protected her, the walls fell and reveals her stoned heart. Adora got her back but had to find a way to break the stoned heart, something that only Catra can destroy. In the end Catra willingly helps and sacrifices her life for Adora and later admits her love for Adora, those final actions weakened and broke her stoned heart and once it did, out came a field of flowers, flowers that grew out of the ground over her ruins of walls and as far as the eye can see representing new life, new beginning, a brighter future.
I finished this all last night (ended up staying up till like 5 in the morning when I finished it) I’m gonna miss this amazing show sm and all of the best catradora moments in it (season 5 being the best season imo). Still want/hope that there might be a season 6 or a spinoff or something. A beautiful show everyone should look into ✨💕
Welp, you can blame her. Adora was raised that way too, and she chose to stay on the good side. All Catra did was her choice. She had multiple chances to join the rebellion, but she chose to stay with the Horde. She had a choice, she didn't have to pull the switch, but she did it. She almost destroyed reality, and it was her choice. Her trauma doesn't give her a pass to hurt people. But happily, in the season 5 she CHOSE to do the right thing, and she was redeemed! I love her, and I know she was hurt, but, like I said, all the bad things she did was her bad choices and nothing can justify what she did in the past 🤷🏿♀️
Also just imagine the person you love the most who has been by your side and the only one protecting you from abuse, telling you to stay behind and then the next time you see her she is the enemy and has new friends. Catra going off the deep end is easy to understand and it could have all been avoided if she wasn't left behind in the first episode.

It really does take that long and good broken people DESERVE to be loved through their healing, not just when they're perfect and happy and obedient! some may see this as romanticizing toxic relationships and teaching to stay in abuse, and i get that, but also its so realistic on the other side. you forget people like catra arent villians, they are sweet hearts that got messed up and need retraining and help they never had those options before! you compare them to people in real world who had options who were taught and assholes anyways u cant do that.

I don't think any tv show has made me cry consistently. I teared up t every episode in the 5th season. But watching these videos makes me tear up even more

just the fact it took she rah FIVE whole seasons to flesh out catradora and redeem catra is so realistic and fair. It really do take THAT long to better yourself , to heal.. few are forgiving and understandable and wanna condem set u in stone nd thats not the grand scheme of most things... it really depends. It really does take that long and good broken people DESERVE to be loved through their healing, not just when they're perfect and happy and obedient! some may see this as romanticizing toxic relationships and teaching to stay in abuse, and i get that, but also its so realistic on the other side. you forget people like catra arent villians, they are sweet hearts that got messed up and need retraining and help they never had those options before! you compare them to people in real world who had options who were taught and assholes anyways u cant do that.
