Thanks for the breakdown and the nice information you gave! I think most of the other content creators are a bit upset about the move because it has no play in UL and ML. Goodra would have been a pseudo legendary that is available for everybody playing the c-day, so getting a decent iv one up to level 50 would have been easy.
It’s good as a safe swap so anything really. Steel lead, double dragon in back is strong. Also could pair it with a good fire type like typhlosion to cover the fairy and ice weakness

Well you just focused on OGL. For this league it's definitely an upgrade. I was looking for grass and electric coverage mons who can break the skarm/whis core. But for other leagues it's unfortunately underwhelming. For OUL and MLP is this community day move not really useful. A cheaper stab move like dragon claw would've been great.
you know these ideas of yours only works on water/flyers but next season is all about Mub Boys!? that is what we are talking about ill wait for the Sawgman video to check that out!
It's still a bad move.. so it gives it some play against a few meta mons. Few of these mons fell in and out thru the seasons. They could have added poison tail or body press. Plus, in UL and ML thunder, punch so weak its pointless . Those other new moves could of been given to other mons. While giving different coverage to goodra
@embalmed_existence read and then answer next time gave 2 moves. That gives coverage and other mons an opportunity for a new move. No one said anything about being better than the champ. All that was said, covering a few meta mons in the meta right now. There's other leagues and raids. Not just this current meta. More things that a different move could have helped overall. Thunder punch is still a terrible move in general

I would’ve been hyped for Counter, Rock Slide or TP. Feel like a dragon move would’ve been so pointless because we have Dnair Dnite Haxorus etc

Thunder Punch is a good move but considering they're giving the move to multiple pokemon in the new season it just feels underwhelming
my biggest worry are all the mudbois. this takes him from one shotting them to being basically walled
