Author of Dino Depot here, your server seems to be configured to prevent platform pickup when structures are built on the platform and the Barsboldia seems to be like the Oasisaur having some sort of default structure. With default settings Dino Depot would require you to confirm the capture, not outright block it. Your own player preferences may also be blocking pickup. I would recommend checking your settings and preferences for that :) If you need any help configuring or finding settings please don't hesitate to ask, I don't bite! :P
Where to get your mods? Curseforge? Also would that store items in containers?

@@JS-mh9uu All ASA mods are on Curseforge and no other place. For picking things up: no, picking up a dino with platform saddle will pick up the structures as individual pieces - all containers drop their inventory

And I'm completely opposite.. It annoys the f out of me that he's more busy adding and taming more and more modded creature than to actually play the map.. at this rate, this will just become yet another unfinished series.. Cuz as soon as Ab drops, this one is dead..

@@MissZume Well all he has to do is tame a lvl 150 rex breed them up and fight the boss and end the series so i rather prefer him adding creatures and supporting modders and players
It's not the complete opposite for me but i feel like every episode is taming a new creature to test it like 2 min at the end of the episode and never using it again (tbf in this episode he really used it a lot so that was cool)

The Barsboldia's weight based damage is indeed determined by the actual number that it is encumbered by and not the percentage. It is worth noting that the cannon does not benefit from the weight modifier, but it does benefit from your damage stat (or at least I'm pretty sure it does, maybe it's just the Amar Berry buff that doesn't affect it).
Overall, the Barsboldia was a pleasant surprise to see. I wasn't expecting it to be as cool and valuable as it actually ended up being.

Dino depot has a config that lets you ball Dino’s with structures on it. It will break the structures but barsboldia doesn’t have an issue it’s just weird for some reason.
That turtle at the end was beautiful. Got a real Ice Queen type vibe going on. The one after the Ichthyornis was pretty cool too.
Loving these modded creatures, it’s really making the Centre series interesting.
Personally I think Boomer works the best for the name.

I noticed that, even if you're not feeding Tintoberries specifically, the Barsboldia is healing per berry fed. It was working with the Azulberries, at least. Tintoberries probably increase passive healing on top of healing per feed.
Definitely add the Sivatherium mod. It's like a giraffe and it's wonderfully well made!

i feel like its a good thing to note that these guys are like titanosaur and will not eat themselves they must be force fed in order to keep them alive. Love the series by the way!

I hope you read this because i think i found a mod you'll love. its called foundation ceilings by Flp. it makes it so all ceilings have foundation support and you wont have to spam foundations. its just like having the old s+ building.

Im pretty sure the cannon is weight based, and thats why it was doing so little to the dodo and so mych to rexes. The pt takes more damage to projectiles so that makes sense. But i think thats the case maybe. Cause the parasaur only took 650 damage with a direct hit
You've got most of the really good mods already, but some other ones to consider are the Dracomorph mod, Tristan's Eocarcharia, Galvarex (this may be more suited toawrds Gensis though), the Bombardier Beetle, and the Sunken World Additions (some of the models are INSANE). Those mods are the the last of the extremely quality mods that I can think of. If you'd like an Indom Rex mod, then Moros Indomitable Duo. Ofc the rest of the ARK Additons creatures too. DarkEdgeTV Survival also covers a lot of the quality mods out there. One interesting mod worth checking out is "Additional Munitions" for more firearms. Cliifan's weapons mods are good too, but a bit cluttered.
I somehow forgot about the Sivatherium mod, and the TaeniaStella Dino additions.
I cannot recommend The Sunken World Additions enough

i think what damaged the billboards was the rex. the paleo rex's stomp deals explosive type damage. so it can do damage to metal or even tek.
Finally we will be able to easily tame an astrocetus in single player when it comes out.

Axe says hi, Syntac's just making tons of cannon balls for no reason whatsoever. Not sure what you will use to help get the right range for your super awesome new creature, but you might get in a little trouble, which could be fun!!!
Since you're not able to put this creature into a ball, if it can be carried around on a quetz platform, it could make sense to tame a quetz.

I can suggest the eocarcharia and silvatherium mod to you if you want some more cool and unique creatures. For the eocarcharia, it is like a meraxes but different, and the silvatherium is a taming creature, with thermal vision and it is really fast. Also the Paleo ark mod is released for ark ascended with new Giga and Rex models and stuff. (And you can take the giga into the tek cave)
For the level 1 bug, could you use a magnifying glass on some creatures and determine their level from the torpor?
Obviously it won't work for aggressive animals, but it could work for some.

I heard in another video on the center at the deepest part of the ocean on the east side of the map is huge deposits of metal. But that was in ASE, not sure if it is in ASA.
When modded creatures are 10x better than the devs creatures you know the game is in trouble.
Have you checked out the Sivatherium mod by 'wildwaghorn'? That is a really cool creature with a Super Spyglass as part of it's saddle. I think Axeman checked it out on his Svartalheim playthrough too.
I told axe to put bees in "jawbreakers" section of his greenhouse because they make the "jawbreakers" grow

When he was trying to put it in the ball it looks like he had no balls to store it as the one on his bar was the version that has to be thrown to capture. Dino balls are weird they have two versions of the same ball. The icon changes form one big ball to 3 small balls and the Dino digitizer only works when the Dino balls are the 3 small balls icon I found from my experience with the mod
Scs (super cryo storage)has admin mode for that and it's gun is the advanced pistol

Honestly I have the issue with not wanting to play creatures that can't harvest corpses just because it's a bit of a pain to jump off and do it if I can't reach it from where I'm sitting, or can't use a pick
That being said, Iguanodon is still one of my favorite early tames

That kind of creature makes me want the game had hotkeys for manipulating your tame's inventory and using stuff. I feel like that when i want to change my mantis tool too but this one seems to take the issue to another level.
Titanosaurs spawn soley in the redwoods in the center
In my own experience, Cannons CAN still ruin taming effectiveness of Bludgeon-Knockout tames, but they need to hit a structure or the mesh after knocking out the creature to do so. So by using billboards that are sorter than the Barsboldia's head, the cannon ball was able to keep going instead of hitting it twice.
Also, as far as creature mod reccomendations go, I can't reccomend the mod "No Untameables" enough.
As the name says, rather than adding any new creatures, it focuses on overhauling existing creatures to make the untameable, tamable.
You've got the obvious ones, like Meganeura, jellyfish, and Ammonite. But one that would be particularly great for this map is the Leedsicthys, which are ridable and have the ability to pick up and store several creatures in their mouths at once, letting you move them around to more convenient areas.
Plus, tameable deathworms are going to be added soon that will be tameable if you do this style of "let's add a bunch of vanilla-style mods to community map series" with Ragnarok. And I can tell you from experience that those guys are fun as hell.

I love having all the mods and such. But there is such a problem with creatures spawning on console. Like... I can hunt and go through the volcanic island and the redwoods and find nothing. No creatures at all. It's honestly quite depressing to play Ark when there is nothing around.
