Because I want a smooth start, I put the knots at my fingers, and am much more cautious about getting rid of twists and knurls at the start. Picking from the outside of the outer loop creates a split braid at the start, allowing you to run the main braid through a loop to secure zipper ties...
thanks a lot for this easy video. I forgot how to do this and endet up with a flat bottom and a round top and was so confused what I had done wrong haha
Hi, thank you for this! I was just wondering, at the beginning you say that it goes down to about 1/3 of the length you start with and I was wondering if that's going down to 1/3 or losing 1/3 please? Just trying to figure out how much to account for as lost length

Thank you for clear and easy tutorial!
Just made a really cool anklet with my school colors! Thanks 😊
Hello I was just curious, where you found the palms down method of learning this.... And if you could direct me on the right path 😁

This lace loses around a third, so you end up with something two thirds the length of the un-braided loops.
@@TheTudorTailor thankyou, much appreciated :)
Cheers!
Make sure the cat is asleep before you start.
I love finerbraiding! This is cool.
