Might be true. I know the first thing I would bring up if I meet George Lucas would be Jar Jar Binks. If I were Mr. Lucas I would want to avoid that conversation AT ALL COSTS.

I also met George Lucas once and told him I was a big fan, my mother was extra in episode 6 and that I was in school to be a Doctor and he asked me was I sure? I said yes I'm quite sure of it, he was nice enough to give me an autograph and walked away bewildered.

Conan started to get depressed when he was not on TV so his friends got together and payed TBS to pretend to make a show for him. Then TBS realized the pretend show was better than what they've got anyway so they just started airing it.
George was totally messing with him. "Nope, you're not coming on my spaceship" is obviously a joke. I'm sure he and Steven had a laugh about how Seth kinda believed George's take on 2012.

I think he was joking, and being serious was part of the joke. I think Lucas just has a really weird sense of humor. I mean the best "spaceship" technology we have is a tiny capsule on top of a rocket that can be launched by one of a very small number of providers, and pretty much only go to orbit or the ISS. Doesn't matter how much money you have, that's the best we have, and that's no good to escape Earth LOL, so I don't think he had a spaceship LOL.
