@@evandrolimadelira6353 wrong! The Music doesn't sound while you're playing 3 or 4 players. The same happened with Mario Kart 64. It looks that for some reason, N64 didn't support music when you played 3-4 players.
@@acro9571 It was mostly early racing games. Later N64 titles were able to utilize music even with four player split screen (DK64/Perfect Dark/Conker's Bad Fur Day).
Are you using a phone? I don't know much about multiplayer aside from playing on PC, which is normally very easy to set up if you have enough controllers. On Android, you can supposedly play online with M64Plus FZ Emulator, but I don't know anything about setting it up.

@@acro9571 It is still possible to get music in 4p with a gameshark code, although that wasn't an option back when I originally played this.

@@acro9571 It's because audio also eats up the N64 CPU. MK64 and DKR could barely stay at 30 FPS in 2 player as is

I wasn’t talking about online I was talking about how do you unlock multiplayer
@@PlasmaStar87 I didn't think there was anything to unlock. Just press A on another controller at the character select screen.
